When gospel music was drifting away from the young people, Kirk came along and drew them back in and the old ones too. He reached both audiences, which is extremely hard to do. Kudos to you Kirk!

Much respect to Kirk, but let's not forget the pioneers in contemporary gospel music. Before Kirk brought young people to gospel, Andrae Crouch brought young people to gospel in the late 70s, early 80s; and Edwin Hawkins brought the gospel to young people in 1968 with "Oh Happy Day"; amongst other gospel pioneers.

Ppl really act like any and everything is acceptable to God, like his son died so we can not have to do anything but he aligned with the world for success and sprinkle a lil bit of Jesus on it and it’s all good after that. Titus 1:6 says, “An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and ... Pet. 1:23), because all Scripture is profitable to make the man of God “complete, equipped for every good work”
Our Lord tells us that when we bring up our children in the admonition of the Lord that they will not stray from it. It takes prayer, and faithfulness, and patience in our Lord to achieve this fully.
The word of Yahweh is not a lie.
Is not Mr. Franklin's son estranged from him? Is not his son wild?
So, how do we just change the word of Yahweh to suit our own purposes or thoughts about someone?
What I see here is that you are respecting the man for that which he has done in your sight and have not sought the Lord properly to see where this man stands with our Lord Elohim.
Have ye not read that our Lord is not a respecter of persons, and that we are to follow his example.
Unless Mr. Franklin is being tested in his faith the above scriptures speaks volumes of who this man is in the Lord.
You will know if he is being tested in his Faith because the Lord will reveal it to you because all of you that are praising this man will cause him to be delivered in the case of his son.

    Kirk! My *Personal Pastor.*
Met him on his first visit to Nigeria, must have been 2000/1.
My Church was in Charge of his Protocol, and there was an issue between his Crew, and my team.
Kirk heard what was going on, and he came to intervene, he wasn't interested in what had happened, all he said was; *"It's not about who's Right Or Wrong, it's about who has the Largest Heart, let's put this Crap behind us, and Serve the LORD!"*
    I'll never forget that.
May the healing Power of God, Perfect his Work in his family.

I’m only half way through the interview, but just when I thought I couldn’t love Kirk Franklin even MORE!! This has to be one of the best interviews that The Breakfast Club has ever covered. The depth and intentional thought that went into the line of questioning was masterful. I appreciate Kirk’s transparency and I feel like God got the “right one” and it’s clear of the call that he’s had on his life and he most definitely understands the assignment. But he’s so right; we are ALL sinners, saved under GRACE.” Ain’t nobody perfect and that’s real talk.
