Capsules and slime layers. Many bacterial cells secrete some extracellular material in the form of a capsule or a slime layer. A slime layer is loosely associated with the bacterium and can be easily washed off, whereas a capsule is attached tightly to the bacterium and has definite boundaries

it is given in detail in Biological classification
Gram + is it remains in same color after adding cristal violet color and gram - is change it colour and became tranpa6

mam what is the diff b/w fimbriae and pili?
pilli is also called as fimbriae...
Pilli is bigger in size than fimbriae
Thanks mam wonderfull videos all chapters

Mam bio ke liye aap konse book refer krte ho. .....plz tell
Mam ek doubt hai please clear kariye. Mam gram negative bacteria me outermost layer lipoprotein hoti hai to it means inme glycocalyx absent hoti hai??
Beta ye cell wall ka part hai...Outermost layer of cell wall ...glycocalyx is over cell wall...
Mam what is the 70 represents in 70s ribosome
