Best crowd working I haver EVER seen. Middle the chant in the middle section, Asami gets them to chant once every 8 beats, then once every4 beats, then every 2 beats, and sustain that for 8 bars. Unliveable whipping the crowd to a frenzied climax, then Miyako hits us with the key hook riff. Astounding stuff.
Surely someone already said it in the previous reaction (which I also saw and, like this one, was very good) but, did you know that one of the guitarists is actually a top-level pianist? Miyako, her first instrument since she was 3 years old is the piano. She decided to play guitar when he was 18 if I remember correctly. If you are interested in seeing her in all of her splendor you should check out the "Swan Song + Chopin intro". Miyako is the musical genius of the group.
Great analysis. The good news is that you will never be disappointed with Lovebites. Nothing but perfection. They are a once a millennium alignment of creativity, technical prowess and personality. They are IT. There is nor ever has been a band this good. So, in answer to the question Lovebites.
One Of the great thrash Song from Lovebites, you can distinctly hear in the left channel the Blonde hair guitarist Midori and in the right channel Black hair Miyako, M&M shred Sister, Haruna at Drum's , Asami singer and Miho at Bass founder of the Band who unfortunately left the group, love Lovebites great and talented
Some people say that they are breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. Yes, these women are just mesmerizing and relentless. I discovered Lovebites a little more than two and a half years ago and I’m still in owe. This song highlights the guitar playing difference between Midori and Miyako. No one is better than the other; they complement each other.
From the EP “Battle Against Damnation” Lyrics: Asami Music: Miho and Miyako Arrangement: Miyako/LoveBites Bassist Miho wrote the foundation of Break the Wall while Miyako added color to the composition, Miyako wrote the solo in the middle with Gary Moore in mind.
Break the wall is a kickass song. There are a few reasons Lovebites is an obsession for me as a fan. I love 80's thrash metal that is well crafted. Miho the headbanging fiend on bass is a huge Slayer fan. Midori and Miyako (M & M on guitar) have influences and heroes from that era as well. You can hear many examples of classic 80's metal sprinkled on top of their original soundtracks like icing on a cake. Miyako (dark haired guitar player) is reported to be the musical genius behind much of the original song writing. Whoever is writing this shit; their music is on fire. Recommend Shadowmaker. The song that made me recognize M & M as one of top five all time guitar duos.
Greetings from WOLFPACK 🐺🇵🇱 POLAND 🇵🇱🐺 I love watching people's first reaction to LOVEBITES.. Your reaction to SET THE WORLD ON FIRE did NOT disappoint 🤘. The dumbfounded look on your face was priceless. Be prepared to keep doing it.. HARD.. You put it perfectly. Mind F'k.. every song feel like it's the first time. Just in a different position. They do every genre of music.. the metal well in USA and UK has dried up. It's Japan baby. But LOVEBITES are special. You have no clue what you got yourself into. Dgg'n yer jam 🤘 That said; Welcome to the 🐺WOLFPACK 🐺🤘 MUCH RESPECT ✌️❤️🙏 FROM POLAND 🇵🇱🐺 Their technically tight musicianship is without peer.
you occasionally hear a reactor wanting to hear a drum solo from haruna. considering that you are a drummer and she pretty much does what you hear for 2 hours almost non stop you might say the entire show is a solo. she is very special and holds her own with any drummer i've heard
I've been listening to metal for over 50 years. Thrash & Speed are my favorite sub genres (but I love ALL metal). This is my all time favorite thrash song, and that says a lot when I love songs from Exodus, Megadeth, Slayer, and so many more greats. Lovebites takes nothing away from those bands, but for me they are just better. No distortion, no gimmicks, no need for flying all over the stage - it's about the music with them and I totally appreciate that aspect of Lovebites. Your comment about telling a story is what Lovebites does so well. Every note they make seems to have a purpose and direction. If you have to ask any newbie if this is metal, what's the point because I assume they don't know metal. If not already on your list, The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath from this same concert is my favorite all-time song (Break the Wall is a very close second): ua-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/v-deo.html
You should also try The Hammer Of Wrath, Holy War, Thunder Vengeance and Winds Of Transylvania. Along with the ones you've just reacted to, these are considered to be their most representative thrash songs.
There are a lot of bands with great guitarists. There have been few with the luxury of two great guitarists. I go all the way back to Allman/Betts and Allman/Clapton, and I’ve never heard another song with two solos that were so great yet so different. This captures perfectly the contrasting styles and personalities of the two guitarists-Midori the extrovert and shredding demon, Miyako the introvert and goddess of blues (who can also shred when she feels like it). I was already hooked on Lovebites, and sold on the dual leads, but this is the song that completely sold me on just how great they are. Really nothing like them, ever.
What makes LOVEBITES different from other (general) bands is... Their best weapon is the melody, not the beat. They don't use threatening sounds or roars, they shoot through my heart with a sure weapon of melody. HARUNA (drummer) rarely shows a drum solo in a live performance. However, the words that a certain person said echo. “Wow, this whole song is a drum solo!” ------------ from Nippon *It is a sentence using Google translation. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.
Loved your reaction. Lovebites is something else. this band is on another level. just perfection. love them so so so much.M&M is the best guitar duo in metal right now.Asami is great.Miho (who left the band last year) is fantastic and Haruna.what can we say about this lady? she is a beast machine on those drums.she is killing those drums every fucking song and shes doing that for 2 hours show. Glory to Lovebites
Great reaction! Yes, story telling is the key to good music! I can imagine the wolf pack storming your channel right now. Any song is great, especially live, and the live opener that they used to do "Thunder Vengeance" followed by "Holy War" should nail it for you. The MV "Shadowmaker" was the one that really nailed it for me. One of the best power metal songs I have heard in decades! I'm sure you will be astonished as well!
there's many stunning and mind shocking song's by Lovebites that you should check it out, MV or live version. never get enough of them. great reaction and observation bro🤘🤘👍👍
lovebites has some softer songs and a few ballads that will leave you wanting more, great reaction. again repeated from others, Haruna can do this for the full concert. listen to edge of the world. where she runs wide open for like 4 min, straight. she is called "the big little engine". keep watching, wolfpack for life
Oh man, you're in for the ride of your life with the best f'n band in metal. Tightest live band there is. Keep it going, you will freaking love all of it! And everyone loves the pocket nuke (drummer), Haruna...all 4' 9" of her! Saw it recommended, Thunder Vengeance live is a F banger! Be sure to do the 2020 version, opening is insane! 🦊🐺 Probably like to see Black Sabbath from back in the day.
This band is really insane and the song is just a masterpiece. They deserve to be known worldwide. And I think they will be very soon 🐺🤘🏻 If you want to see the ladies in Wacken, try with “Above the Black Sea” ua-cam.com/video/Y9w81lmw2no/v-deo.html
Haruna is a marvel. Virtually all praise their musicianship or vocal talent, and rightly so. But lets not overlook that they write and arrange such incredible music and lyrics. (shout out to collaborator Mao too). They have so, so, so many great songs. 👍👍👍🤘🐺
A little late, love your reaction to these Metal Goddesses, continue your journey, check out Awakening / Hammer of Wrath, live, from the same concert venue!! They are the real deal!!🤘🐺🤘!
You need to do Swan Song WITH Chopin etude ... Miyako (dark hair stage left (LG)) will blow your mind :) BAND-MAID are my favourite, I've been following them 5 years now.Desperate to see them Live. But you can just about find any JRock/JMetal band to suit your personal preference. There are many Male groups over there but Women just knock it out the park everytime ....🤣
Will do just added it to my ever growing list of songs. Also i will be diving more into japanese metal bands as they seem harder than any north american bands atm
@@SychoNation Brilliant! You won't regret it! Discovering the Japanese Music Scene 5 yearsago brought back my younger self's love of Rock (Sabbath, Zep, YES, PF et al).

Lovebites is an unstoppable force, that wall never stood a chance, it has been reduced to dust. Last video I suggested Hanabie, hopefully you will get to that one someday, today ill suggest Unlucky Morpheus - Black Pentagram live. Ill keep suggesting a new japanese band every video, the ocean of japanese bands is deep and a lot of them deserve a few more eyes and ears on them. Edit: as for your question of the day, you mean band I wanna see live or band I wanna see on your channel? well, live its definitely Lovebites, on your channel is Hanabie.
LOVEBITES - Break The Wall lyrics: (DIE) No sign of my time Cause I wish to live another life (BY) Who will save my poor soul? Crying alone in a dim hole (MY) Can't believe it's real Cause in the end, everything is gone (SIDE) How should I live from now? Did you have a different channel maybe a couple of years ago, I could have sworn I'd seen you before doing Lovebites then, anyway awesome reaction, hope to see more soon
Since you're asking, I suggest Lovebites' Swan Song next which is much more melodic than this one. As for other bands, try Asterism, an instrumental metal band. Song titles: Dawn, Gunfire, Rising Moon, Church, Blaze, Light in the Darkness, etc. Also, they're freaking teenagers who are absolute virtuosos. The bassist plays a 7-stringer and does stuff I've never seen (Church and Dawn are the best examples of that).
Good reaction. In the Japanese music scene, J-Metal and J-Pop are not mutually exclusive. You will find it affected and related. There are few strange obsessions, there are many changes, and there is no hesitation in combinations, so it is diversified. Each person may have their likes and dislikes, but there is no need to judge superiority or inferiority.
Lovebites is a terrific live power metal band. If you haven't heard them you might consider reacting to Band Maid DOMINATION live. They're hard rock, not metal, totally different. Don't be put off by their appearance either, you will have a very hard time juxtaposing their sound with their appearance.
Enjoyed your reaction so much.. yeah those girls are the best thing that happened in the last 30 heavy metal yrs. I hope you do more reactions to their songs and speaking of their thrash metal side I suggest that you check the show opener Thunder Vengeance ua-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/v-deo.html but any other LIVE song is great too. Cheers! :)
Get used to the "well dressed category metal bands" from Japan. Hagane, Aldious, Liv Moon, is other bands to fill this category. Then You have the Visual Kei bands. Versailles /Jupiter ( same band, different singers), Fate Gear and more!
Love Lovebites. So good. If you come back to them, for a story, check out Frozen Serenade, live. Swan Song (with the Chopin intro) as well. For hype, crowd excitement, check out Thunder Vengeance, the show opener for Zepp. The bassist, Miho, wrote this one.

Ok,, you mentioned seeing over a dozen suggestions for other bands. I don't want to overwhelm you, so consider this a crib sheet to help keep track of bands you react to. With that said... Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. This is a starter list of all-female (or in eight cases, mixed gender) metal, punk, hard-rock and post-rock bands, with founding dates where I know them. It's alphabetical, except for the first three, which are at the top of the list for historical reasons. They set the table for the explosion of Japanese female hard-rock, punk and metal bands. Note: I have tried to pick clips that are reactor-friendly because they are high quality and are representative of the band's style (if you find dead links, please let me know by replying to this comment, thanks!) You are likely to get suggestions mainly for Band-Maid, Babymetal, Lovebites, Nemophila, Unlucky Morpheus and Wagakki Band. You can’t go wrong with any of those, but I hope you will find time to check out more of the bands on this list. They are all worth the time and deserve the love, and many will really surprise you. My personal favorites include Asterism, Bridear, Doll$Boxx, existTtrace, Hagane, Hanabie, Mary’s Blood, Sokoninaru and Tricot. Ok, the list: Show-Ya (1981 The original female J-metal band, founded before Metallica-this is from their 24th (!) anniversary concert-and they are still touring) They belong in any rock or music hall of fame: “I am the Storm” ua-cam.com/video/oJ_5Gv3vFjQ/v-deo.html Shonen Knife (1981 The world’s first bubblegum punk band. If you find others you think belong on this list, please let me know. And if you find a dead link, also please let me know so I can fix the list. Thank you!
Yup, this is a great one. So damn heavy and the solos are just excellent. I really hope that they will contine to write songs like this. Lovebites putting out a full-on thrash album could be amazing. Now when it comes to their outfits I enjoy the contrast between their looks and their music as much as everyone else, but I can certainly see why someone might find it gimmicky. And it is something that some people will spin against them. It is what it is. But I appreciate the fact that their outfits are at least classy and they actually fit their vibe quite well. With Lovebites everything is kinda shiny, theatrical and over-the-top in some ways. And I mean that in a good way. They give off that sense of glamour and I really like it. Also I certainly prefer their outfits over the maid costumes the members of a certain other band like to don. Something that people might associate with otaku culture.
Since you've talked about emotion and storytelling in songs, let me suggest you the song 'Babymetal - Akatsuki'. While there might be some pop influence, believe me it is definately metal and worth checking out for their insane live shows ;)
@@SychoNation There is also an 'unfinished' version/performance of the song which is just the singer with a piano that is (obviously) not metal, but extremely emotional and beautiful. Both versions are great, choose what you like more 😉👍
I will tell you my point of view. The whole Japanese metal scene makes good music and some of them very good music, and they are talented musicians. But to my ear and from what I have seen, none of them can compete musically and technically with Lovebites. Lovebites plays a step above the others. There is no band that I know of in Japan or anywhere else that I think is as talented as Lovebites. As a teenager, I was born in 1968 and listened to all the world famous metal bands to this day. Metallica, Maiden, Judas, Accept and many others. And I came to the conclusion that Lovebites' talent level surpasses those bands. On all levels, even on the level of compositions and musical beauty they are a step above. And that doesn't mean that the others are not good, but they are not better. Find me a band whose first 50 songs are top notch. Worse whose tracks cover different styles of music, from hard rock to heavy, power, thrash metal. It is the diversity and beauty of their repertoire that makes Lovebites in my opinion an out of this world band. The reason is simple, if the old bands of the 80/90's and the best of them had not existed Lovebites would not exist either. Because Lovebites is the child born of those bands. You take the best of each of them and you get Lovebites.
Totally agree, just for me there is one band, only one whose first 50 songs are top notch - Iron Maiden. First 7 albums I dont find a song i would discard.
@@georges9326 Up the Irons 👍 Have always been my No1 favorite.. I think Lovebites has pipped them at the post though for me.. Just really like the diversity of Lovebites..
Bro, check also another TOP female Japanese Metal Bands HANABIE - songs WE LOVE SWEETS, NEET GAME.. NEMOPHILA - songs REVIVE, DISSENSION, RAITEI.. BAND-MAID - live songs FREEDOM, DOMINATION, PLAY, DICE, THRILL, ON SET, LATEST SONGS UNLEASH, INFLUENCER ASTERISM(female guitarist) - songs DAWN, RISING MOON, BLAZE... DON'T MISSED THEM BRO.....🤘🤘
80's thrash metal at it's perfection from at it's core a 80's power metal band.🤘"Shadow Maker" MV is what got me hooked on them. It's 80's power metal too the bone, except the chorus which are thrash. Just to let you know Miyako, the Japanese supermodel looking dark hair guitarist, writes the majority of their music. Also she is a classical trained pianist since the age of three. She then picked up a guitar and taught herself to play, no lessons. She is a true musical prodigy. Miyako can shred with the best them, but she best known for the emotional feel of those like Gary More and others. She is best showcased in what is called the three "E'" songs, "Epilogue" "Empty Daydream" and "Edge of the World". With the pinnacle of her talent being "Swan Song" with Chopin (Show-pan) intro, a must be in reaction. Haruna, the drummer, is a F-ing beast. All 4'-9" of her. There is none better with double kicks than her, you can see what I mean in the song "Edge of the World". Haruna is the true heartbeat of LoveBites.
The best Lovebites song is whichever one you listened to last.
LOVEBITES 🐺 INCREDIBLE
HARUNA.....THE DRUMMER
That's the best part - they totally don't LOOK like a heavy metal band. I LOVE IT!! I love Lovebites!!
Damn, the drummer, she is like the energiser bunny, she just doesn't know when to stop!
facts hard facts
Best crowd working I haver EVER seen. Middle the chant in the middle section, Asami gets them to chant once every 8 beats, then once every4 beats, then every 2 beats, and sustain that for 8 bars. Unliveable whipping the crowd to a frenzied climax, then Miyako hits us with the key hook riff. Astounding stuff.
Rock and metal aren't dead, they just moved to Japan.😀🤘
Bloody FIRE!!! Absolute FIRE!!! 🐺🤘
Lovebites.... Fantastic band
Oh boy, that was like pure heaven on my ears that was
facts
Thrash is where my heart is 🐺🤘🔥 AMAZING!
Here for my daily Lovebites fix 🐺
This is a perfect band by any standard. Good reaction
I love Miho's use of the chorus pedal during the calmer section.
She is a Diamond isn't she. Goodness I miss her.
From the EP “Battle Against Damnation”
Lyrics: Asami
Music: Miho and Miyako
Arrangement: Miyako/LoveBites
Bassist Miho wrote the foundation of Break the Wall while Miyako added color to the composition, Miyako wrote the solo in the middle with Gary Moore in mind.
I am slowly falling in love with this band and their music, so metal, so amazing
RIGHT did not know metal took a flight to Japan and apparently is living there
Greetings from WOLFPACK 🐺🇵🇱 POLAND 🇵🇱🐺
I love watching people's first reaction to LOVEBITES.. Your reaction to SET THE WORLD ON FIRE did NOT disappoint 🤘. The dumbfounded look on your face was priceless. Be prepared to keep doing it..
HARD.. You put it perfectly. Mind F'k.. every song feel like it's the first time. Just in a different position. They do every genre of music.. the metal well in USA and UK has dried up. It's Japan baby. But LOVEBITES are special. You have no clue what you got yourself into. Dgg'n yer jam 🤘 That said;
Welcome to the
🐺WOLFPACK 🐺🤘
MUCH RESPECT ✌️❤️🙏 FROM POLAND 🇵🇱🐺
Their technically tight musicianship is without peer.
Welcome back to lovebites, hopefully you will do more reaction to lovebites, this band is so talented. Lovebites rock
there most def will be more reactions to these amazing girls
@@SychoNation for more amazing solos and vocals - like in every song - 'holy war' live will make you numb : ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html
you occasionally hear a reactor wanting to hear a drum solo from haruna. considering that you are a drummer and she pretty much does what you hear for 2 hours almost non stop you might say the entire show is a solo. she is very special and holds her own with any drummer i've heard
If not already on your list, The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath from this same concert is my favorite all-time song (Break the Wall is a very close second): ua-cam.com/video/otJZPUCwyOM/v-deo.html
you done it again my friend first you found the warning and you struck gold again with this band
bro they are insanely talented so awesome someone suggested them
You should also try The Hammer Of Wrath, Holy War, Thunder Vengeance and Winds Of Transylvania. Along with the ones you've just reacted to, these are considered to be their most representative thrash songs.
Not to forget "M.D.O." : ua-cam.com/video/RzyIFE-eRH8/v-deo.html
All Glory to LOVEBITES and all my brothers and sisters in The Wolf Pack everywhere.
Whoah I was shocked seeing them and hearing 😲
What makes LOVEBITES different from other (general) bands is...
Their best weapon is the melody, not the beat. They don't use threatening sounds or roars, they shoot through my heart with a sure weapon of melody.
HARUNA (drummer) rarely shows a drum solo in a live performance. However, the words that a certain person said echo.
“Wow, this whole song is a drum solo!”

*It is a sentence using Google translation. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.
Have to do "Thunder Vengeance" next 🤘
Loved your reaction. Lovebites is something else. this band is on another level. just perfection. love them so so so much.M&M is the best guitar duo in metal right now.Asami is great.Miho (who left the band last year) is fantastic and Haruna.what can we say about this lady? she is a beast machine on those drums.she is killing those drums every fucking song and shes doing that for 2 hours show. Glory to Lovebites
My Lovebites 🏴 🐺 🤘
Great reaction! Yes, story telling is the key to good music!
I can imagine the wolf pack storming your channel right now. Any song is great, especially live, and the live opener that they used to do "Thunder Vengeance" followed by "Holy War" should nail it for you. The MV "Shadowmaker" was the one that really nailed it for me. One of the best power metal songs I have heard in decades! I'm sure you will be astonished as well!
I can not wait to get deeper into their music but def will do the next as thunder and vengeance
Agreed, but try the live 2021 version of Shadowmaker, its a virtuouso performance.
@@hoges412 The MV, yes. It sounds better.
there's many stunning and mind shocking song's by Lovebites that you should check it out, MV or live version. never get enough of them. great reaction and observation bro🤘🤘👍👍
lovebites has some softer songs and a few ballads that will leave you wanting more, great reaction. again repeated from others, Haruna can do this for the full concert. listen to edge of the world. where she runs wide open for like 4 min, straight. she is called "the big little engine". keep watching, wolfpack for life
Oh man, you're in for the ride of your life with the best f'n band in metal.
Probably like to see Black Sabbath from back in the day.
I only look for Lovebites videos
its like Testament and Slayer combined. Shredding your face and melting your brain. Gotta love them-The Wolfpack regins supreme...
This easily beats other metal performance out there🔥
no kidding they really know how to work the crowd and their music is perfection
This band is really insane and the song is just a masterpiece. They deserve to be known worldwide. And I think they will be very soon 🐺🤘🏻
If you want to see the ladies in Wacken, try with “Above the Black Sea” ua-cam.com/video/Y9w81lmw2no/v-deo.html
Absolutely great reaction.
So amazingly great watching you. A mindfuck....hilarious 🤣👯♀️
Haruna is a marvel. Virtually all praise their musicianship or vocal talent, and rightly so. But lets not overlook that they write and arrange such incredible music and lyrics. (shout out to collaborator Mao too). They have so, so, so many great songs. 👍👍👍🤘🐺
crazy that is some multitalented stuff right there
6:31 That would be my reaction just waking up first thing in the morning
A little late, love your reaction to these Metal Goddesses, continue your journey, check out Awakening / Hammer of Wrath, live, from the same concert venue!! They are the real deal!!🤘🐺🤘!
WELCOME TO THE WOLFPACK 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 Definately wanna see LOVEBITES and AD INFINITUM (MELISSA BONNEY IS AMAZING)

LOVEBITES - Break The Wall lyrics:
(DIE) No sign of my time
Cause I wish to live another life
(BY) Who will save my poor soul?
Crying alone in a dim hole
(MY) Can't believe it's real
Cause in the end, everything is gone
(SIDE) How should I live from now?
Find myself staring at the walls
Tonight, I'll break the wall
It's now or never
Now, I'm on my own
I've gotta get free
Bite, I'll break the chain
Run to my shelter
Make it out alive
I have to break through the wall
(DIE)
No sign of my crime
Got my scars during wartime
(BY)
Who's the one that did it
Deadly venom eating me inside
(MY)
Spent my life in vain
I can't forget everything I've done
(SIDE)
I swear to my hatred
Find myself staring at the walls
Tonight, I'll break the wall
It's now or never
Now, I'm on my own
I've gotta get free
Bite, I'll break the chain
Run to my shelter
Make it out alive
I have to break through the wall
SOLO: midori / miyako
(DIE)
No sign of my time
Cause I wish to live another life
(BY)
Who will save my poor soul?
Crying alone in a dim hole
(MY)
Can't believe it's real
Cause in the end, everything is gone
(SIDE)
How should I live from now?
Find myself staring at the walls
Tonight, I'll break the wall
It's now or never
Now, I'm on my own
I've gotta get free
Bite, I'll break the chain
Run to my shelter
Make it out alive
I have to break through the-
I have to break through the-
I have to break through the wall

Lovebites - Swan Song (with Chopin intro) need to hear this now
will check it out asap thanks for the suggestion
Next songs: When Destinies Align, Shadowmaker, Rising, The Crusade, The Hammer of Wrath, Winds Of Transylvania, .....
added to the list
Don't be put off by their appearance either, you will have a very hard time juxtaposing their sound with their appearance.
sweet another dont judge the book by the cover band I AM DOWN they are added to the list
Visual kei is another world haha. It doesn't get much crazier.
Love Lovebites. So good. If you come back to them, for a story, check out Frozen Serenade, live. Swan Song (with the Chopin intro) as well. For hype, crowd excitement, check out Thunder Vengeance, the show opener for Zepp. The bassist, Miho, wrote this one.
i told you my friend, it's a true rabbit hole!!! yeeeeehhaaaaaaaa!!!!! now take the lovebites challenge try to find a BAD lovebites song =)

Note: I have tried to pick clips that are reactor-friendly because they are high quality and are representative of the band's style (if you find dead links, please let me know by replying to this comment, thanks!)
You are likely to get suggestions mainly for Band-Maid, Babymetal, Lovebites, Nemophila, Unlucky Morpheus and Wagakki Band. Ok, the list:

There are many more (others that come to mind are BRATS, Drop’s, Stereopony, Scandal, Princess Princess, which all tend more in the pop direction, and the Bang-Dream projects, which are live groups based on Manga series. And of course, there are other female-fronted Kawaii-metal groups like Ladybaby and Ironbunny, to name the two best-known after Babymetal.
Why are you such a M o r o n?

Since you've talked about emotion and storytelling in songs, let me suggest you the song 'Babymetal - Akatsuki'. While there might be some pop influence, believe me it is definately metal and worth checking out for their insane live shows ;)
I have added it to my list for sure thanks for the suggestion
1962 here Frederic, and this is the best description I've heard, and is exactly how I feel about lovebites.. Thanks for that!!
I was born 58 and a heavy metal fans during my teens days and i feel the same like you 👍🤘
Totally agree, just for me there is one band, only one whose first 50 songs are top notch - Iron Maiden. First 7 albums I dont find a song i would discard.
@@georges9326 Up the Irons 👍 Have always been my No1 favorite.. I think Lovebites has pipped them at the post though for me.. Just really like the diversity of Lovebites..
Raise Some Hell has always been my fav. Add it to the list I guess.

For a different sound, try their masterpiece Edge Of The World. Nightwish would be the band I most want to see.
