What an amazing video Ross. This is exactly what I'm working on, and seeing the charts you made really helped me understand it better. I wrote in my journal a couple days ago that I need to work on what I called a "mental breakdown" where I snowball and have a massive red day. I swear you literally have been reading my Instagram page for the past year and made a video about what I’ve been preaching forever. You can go back four years on my page and see my premarket screening sheet that I hand filled out before taking plays and after taking plays. The sheet literally made me answer the question am I emotional after the play. That determined if I could take another play and how soon I could take another play. This is like verbatim all of my digressions for each of my trading days. Once I mastered my emotions, I started mastering the trade. My only red day was Feb 1 this year. And before that it was last October. Emotions are 90% of this game, and technicals are 10%. I got the technical and strategy from you Ross. But the emotional side I had to master over time on my own through a series of check downs. I love this video. Thanks for sharing.

The comparison that I could think of as a trader that takes an L is a music producer/artist that can’t create anything in a certain time period ie writer’s block or producer block…But I think it was Pharrell Williams that said you gotta keep showing up and be present everyday bc you never know when the universe will bless you with inspiration…so being present in the market everyday is important bc you never know when the market will bless you with opportunities 🙌🏽ONELOVE and much success to everyone 🙏🏽

So true man, I have blown up my account many times, and literally just did it again in FEB/MAR. Went from 2k to 52k~ went one week heavy heavy trading with risky positions in spy, tsla and etc with puts ( I knew) and then kept chasing instead of cutting losses. So frustrating. even after trading for 8 years, its nice to hear a refresher like this. I always tell others that " theres always the next trade" and then i boof it myself time to time, but then I major boof and blow it up. Luckily I do take some gains to the bank, but still.

Thank you for your wise words! I have been trading for a few months and I have had three small red trades, I found out it happened because I rushed, didn't took time to analyze the situation. So my advice is you need to analyze the stock and you will find that the stock is going to make you money. I have been able to not trade some stock and I see that they went down that day. My advice is study the stocks, be patient. What makes me mad is the mistake. One example just happened when Nvidia was going up I entered when it was already 364 and I didn't entered at the beginning because it went up and went down just at 3: pm I thought the earnings were not good and I thought it's going down, I wasted a few minutes I checked in and then I see it went from 302 to 364 felt to angry for not been patient, not been there been ready. Thanks for your insights!!

I think day trading is most like fishing. You can show up every day, but you can’t control whether the fish are going to show up. Sometimes you have to be okay going home empty handed instead of running farther out to sea to try to force a catch.

Not sure what happened.. 4 weeks of May only 4 red days then Memorial Day Weekend. Coming out of the holiday weekend and just got slapped with back to back red days completely blowing my avg., profit and when I needed it most you share this video a few hours ago. Ty Ross.. Depends on the stock, time of day and how much momentum there is in the market.

@DaytradeWarrior Can I be profitable if my buying cost per share is USD 2.3 cents and than selling cost is again same per share. Because in your strategies you are only taking profit of 10 cents a share for after deducting cost it will be it will be 5.4 cents and if I lose 10 cents than will lose total of 14.6 cents. How should I approach trading.
