Under my second pregnancy I had to take aspirin cus in the first i had preeclampsia and Hellp syndrome , I had preeclampsia with the 2. too but 4 weeks later than in the first so I would say the aspirin really helps
I had preeclampsia twice. First time I didn’t get it until I was in my third trimester. Second time I was put on aspirin but it didn’t help, still got preeclampsia. No other known family members have this but me 🙄 so annoying
Hugs mama.... I lost my first born too due to preeclampsia gave birth via ECS at 32weeks (placenta abruption) my baby fought hard in NICU for 4days before she gained her wings to heaven. After 4months i got pregnant again was adviced by my OB/Perinatologist to take 2 80mg aspirin at night up to 35weeks. along the duration of my pregnancy my BP became manageable. I was able to deliver my rainbow baby 36weeks 6days via CS and i am Preeclampsia free. I know aspirin was a big help that time. Sending baby dust and good thoughts to you momma😘
Hope one day there will be a cure for pre eclampsia

My doctor told me to take 100mg at night. I'm in Mexico and was concerned taking 10mg because in the US the standard is 81mg
Follow your doctor advice. Some Doctors here in US say take 2/ 81 tabs. So 100 should be ok. I am taking aspirin too😀
Mechanism of action still not known?
