Hey Bruce, saw you on Asylum tour Dec. 27, 1985 Columbia, SC. Have pics, ticket still... 5 days after turning 15! What a great birthday / Christmas gift! You were amazing. Such a great time in life! Years later my wife Lynn and I introduced you to our youngest then just 5. She just turned 16.. loves Kiss and BK. Turning all her friends on to your music. The Galloways all love you and Lisa !!!!!! - Rob G.
I think this was a great time for KISS ..... you and Eric brought new life to the band.... Thanks for taking me back to a much happier day when KISS was hot as ever.🎸🎉🍾
Huge kiss fan here for 35 years, first song I ever heard from kiss was the crazy nights video in the vhs that included crazy nights, turn on the night and reason to live and it was you that I loved first not Ace ! Thank you very much for all the years you gave to kiss ! Very sorry for your family lost of Bob, he was a skilled talented guitar player, just as you.
I remember the promotion for the Corpus Christi concert !! But I was only 15 and lived in Brownsville TX. Too far to get permission to go.. I had to wait till the Hot in the Shade tour to FINALLY see you guys. May 12, 1990 in Kansas City .. I also saw you in Salina KS where you guys blew out a transformer towards the end of the play list knocking out the power to the building.
Many Kiss fans love the 70’s stuff most, but I for one reckon the energy Of Bruce’s work gave Kiss a new up to date sound, that is still awesome to listen to now. Animalize, Asylum, the underrated Crazy nights album, Hot in the Shade and Revenge kicked ass in my opinion!
I saw this tour in salt lake City Utah. W.A.S.P. opened the show. KISS blew out the power 3/4 of the way through and never came back out. We were very pissed off that the concert ended early.
Bruce, Maybe there’s a way to put some of these fantastic sound board tapes out for the fans before they turn to dust!! It would be cool to see these tapes saved!! There’s not much live stuff from the Asylum era for us to listen to!! 🙏🙏🙏🎸
Awesome video Bruce. I began as a fan at eight in 1980 and I remain an obsessed KISSmaniac. But of course through the years while you were in the band, I was massively into the music. I first saw you play around the "Animalize" tour. I was immediately blown away by your playing and I loved it the whole time you were in the band. I got to meet you for an autograph at the KISS Convention in Chicago 1995. I continue to love those albums you played on. These videos you are doing are very cool to watch. Incredible memories..I love all eras of KISS. I actually thought the "Asylum" costumes were cool, for the non make up era. They were really flashy looking.
I had that poster on my wall seen the show in Charleston wva when they Left you on the stage for a 10 minute solo you were a trooper you are The real deal and l know you hate those yellow stairs 🤘
Thanks so much for this! I always thought this was one of the best guitar solo of the 80`s. It was ripping but also melodic and expressive in a fantastic way!
Thanks for posting this Bruce. It's awesome to see/hear from the opposite side of the audience. Very few people have had an opportunity and the experiences that you have. This soundboard recording is awesome to hear.
Thanks for posting, Bruce. I saw ever tour you were on from Animalize to Hot in the Shade. Every show was amazing. Wish I could have seen Revenge also, but at least I saw it on Kissology.
Awesome song. Saw the band 3 times on this tour....Austin Tx, Tucson Az, and Waco Tx. So many shots of my favorite of your guitars....that beautiful Ironbird! 😍 Hope you two are doing well! 😎😎😎 BK 😎😎😎 🌹🌹🌹 Miss Lisa 🌹🌹🌹
He told me that the neck was developing a twist or warp that wasn't correctable, so he gave it to a roadie (pretty sure it was a roadie, anyway). Gave. It. Away. 😄
For as campy as this song is it's one of my favorites from Asylum. Boy you can really tell that Paul and Gene were having a hard time keeping up with Bruce and Eric. Man was Eric Carr a beast on them drums or what?
Question Bruce, I was at the last show of the Asylum tour at the Meadowlands arena in NJ. Kiss had a different stage than this one. I remember amps stacked and ramps or walkways throughout the amps. Any reason for the change? Were there always two stage sets rotating through the tour? Any insite would be great. Love these videos. Keep them coming! Thanks. Joe
Very cool! Any chance you could do some videos related to Eric Carr's Rockology one day? Would love it if you could run through some of the riffs and solos that you played.. Also, anything you can share about the guitar at 2:29 in this video? Thank you Bruce.

Man I would have never guessed that in 2021 it would be Bruce Kulick himself uploading KISS soundboard recordings.
Bruce is a master class gentleman and a fantastic guitar player his whole career.
Seriously, if you have any live sound board versions of “King Of The Mountain” please post it!! That’s such a fantastic song!
🎸🥇🏆🥇🎸
I think this was a great time for KISS ..... you and Eric brought new life to the band.... Thanks for taking me back to a much happier day when KISS was hot as ever.🎸🎉🍾
The “fastest” tour ever probably! So much energy!
Brings back good memories...song-wise, Asylum is still my favorite 80's album.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos @Bruce Kulick!
U rock Bruce, America loves you
You’re the best Bruce!...
Listen to that mix! Nice solo by Bruce. Great photos.
That bird is badass. Cheers from Canada.

I gotta say Bruce, your guitar work live was a real asset to the KISS live show. When things got a bit loose you were always rock solid.

It's a shame there weren't any professionally recorded shows from this tour.

Wow, that is played fast! 😀🤘
I saw this tour in salt lake City Utah. W.A.S.P. opened the show. KISS blew out the power 3/4 of the way through and never came back out. We were very pissed off that the concert ended early.
Hi Bruce. I was on Wikipedia the other day and it didn't list Uh! All night or Who wants to be lonely as singles.
Good quality sound 🤘👍
I love Asylum 🇬🇧😍
At the very beginning I thought it Was really too fast... but after a few seconds it all made sense... Guitars were so cool 🤤
I saw that tour in Tulsa!
Bruce e Eric Carr os maiores e eternos kiss.... Paul e Genne eram maravilhosos nesta época, nenhuma banda os?superava no luxo , visual e palco
That was SICK!!!! Amazing sound! An incredible pictures!!! Thanks Bruce!!
I have a live bootleg recording of that tour from Charlotte, and the songs were played so fast that the show lasted less than 90 minutes.
Bruce killing those leads! Thanks for making me want to pick up a guitar when I was a kid!
Awesome!
Excellent! ✌🏻
CORPUS CHRISTI on the map!!!! UH ALL NIGHT BABY!!!
It’s cool that you recorded all this
Very cool. 👍
At 2:30, that Ironbird with the 3x3 headstock is a thing of beauty! I've always loved it and I'm pretty sure it only made an appearance on this tour.
You rock bro. Can't believe its been that long. . Keep up the good work 🎸👍
Thanks for sharing, Bruce! This was the first tour I saw KISS live (twice!) so this brings back fun memories. Cheers!
Wow! Even a whole step down!! Really makes it sound interesting!
Thanks for sharing Bruce!

Fantastic. I love the roughness of the track, thanks for posting, Bruce.
This was first ever concert n December 17th of 1985 at the Philadelphia Spectrum...

Original studio album version ~112 BPM. This version ~130BPM.
Wow these photos are great. Would love for that whole audio to come out some day.
Eric almost singing the lead on this , he was great
Thanks for posting, Bruce. I saw ever tour you were on from Animalize to Hot in the Shade. Every show was amazing. Wish I could have seen Revenge also, but at least I saw it on Kissology.
Great recording. Great Kiss era... Mr. Kulick, what about sharing Eric's drum solo with soundboard sound?
It would be awesome to have a pro shot live video from this tour.
I don't know if it's the mix but are Gene and Eric singing the chorus without Paul? Love you Bruce, non makeup KiSS era was a magical time.

Hello Bruce im from corpus, but u was wondering if you could do a rig rundown of your kiss era setup
So I think you guys might have been playing this one a bit too slow :), Thanks for sharing Bruce!
Whatever became of that Ironbird? I believe it’s the only Ironbird I’ve seen with the traditional, BC Rich three per side headstock.
Tell us something interesting about this fantastic custom Ironbird guitar)
Is this the "on coke" version? I mean I get speeding up a song a little bit live...but this is nuts.
That Jackson 2:09 wow!!!
Great stuff! I wish you guys would played this a bit slower like the album though.
you guys ever play " any way you slice it " live??
Question Bruce, I was at the last show of the Asylum tour at the Meadowlands arena in NJ. Kiss had a different stage than this one. I remember amps stacked and ramps or walkways throughout the amps. Any reason for the change? Were there always two stage sets rotating through the tour? Any insite would be great. Love these videos. Keep them coming!
Thanks. Joe
There was 3 stages for this tour.
Are these Tommy Sumpters pix?
Pretty good but it seems a bit faster than the studio version.
For a second i thought I had the video on fast forward. The song is speed way up
2:29 BRUCE, YOU HAVE TO TELL US, MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THAT BLUE BC RICH///
bluejackg vs 3ds mashup showtime
Very cool! Any chance you could do some videos related to Eric Carr's Rockology one day? Would love it if you could run through some of the riffs and solos that you played.. Also, anything you can share about the guitar at 2:29 in this video? Thank you Bruce.
Eric Carr sings more than Paul!!
