The Reason To Live Solo made me want to become a guitar player. Thank you so much for your tasty and melodic solos that inspired so many of us. Thank you!
Best KISS videos out there. Bruce never says anything bad about any of his bandmates, but just talks about how awesome it was t o be in KISS. Keep them coming Bruce!!!!
Hi Bruce. I've said it many times before but I'll say it again, your era of KISS is awesome! Thanks for all of these videos and for helping to keep the memory of Eric Carr alive.
I was there with you in the dressing room with the Dutch Kiss Army, right before the concert at Wembley in 1988. An era where that kind of encounters were still possible. tI was an exiciting moment. The whole band took time with us to talk, sign stuff, take pictures, make jokes, etc. Once finished we take out seats in the hall and 2 minutes later you walk on stage.. I wille never forget this day...thank you so much
I’ve been a KISS fan since ‘76 but the Bruce years were my high school years, the formative years. The best shows, the memories. Was there for the taping of ‘Turn on the Night’ video in Worcester,MA.! ‘Crazy Nights’ was a magical time. Thanks a million Bruce for the memories that last a lifetime...
Glad for all the great memories Bruce. Hope you and your family are doing good. Always loved you showmanship. Saw you many times at Richfield coliseum, Cleveland ohio. Alway look forward to your updates. Rock on Bruce.
That was such a killer time for KISS, IMO. the makeup era was over, but the songs were honored. The newer songs sounded so amazing with Paul's vocals at the top of their game, and all three of you guys were running all over the stage. Ahh, the joys of our younger days ❤ thanks for sharing this, Bruce. You and I met back in the late 90s when Union played at a bar in the middle of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan called the Tumble Inn. The picture of us ended up in the back pages of Metal Edge magazine. A great moment for me for sure. Hope to see you the next time you come through the Clearwater/St. Pete Florida area. Peace, John
I came across KISS in 1982 and kept waiting for them to come to Japan. And finally they came to the land of the rising sun in 1988 ! I saw Paul, Gene, Eric and ,last not but least,Bruce for the first time in my life at the age of 18. Without Bruce and Eric, KISS couldn't have survived through the 80's.
I am glad I ran into this video. Thanks Bruce. You were my favorite era of Kiss. Being a teen in the mid to late eighties I used to listen to this album a lot back then. Been a while so now I had to go listen through after watching this video. Thanks for taking me back.
Saw the show in OKC. We spent weeks preparing a very visual/intricate banner. When we tossed it on stage the lights went out. When the light came on paul was wearing it like a cape. Thrilling!!!
Greatest song of the 80s that said what the 80s were about. And the video for the song was the best IMO. 🤘🤘 thank you Bruce for everything you did in the band. You've always been a member of KISS 🤘🤘 and always will be. You weren't just, a hired gun, so to speak. Love this era of KISS. Especially, crazy night's and revenge.
Great video. The best KISS show i ever saw was night 1 at the Ritz in NYC. No bombs. No pyro. No huge light show. Just the great tunes and tons of energy from the band and fans alike.
Bruce is MY Kiss guitar player. He’s the one who was there from when I was 11 years old and onward. Nicest guy I’ve ever met. Really took the time to listen and I’ve always been happy to be a fan of his and his era of Kiss!!! Thanks Bruce!!
Bruce!! Love your videos! Seeing this era brings back so many good memories!!! Your talent - and your important position in KISSTORY!! Thanks to you and Lisa for sharing!!
This was my first concert, Jan. 2, 1988, Knoxville, TN. I was such a massive Kiss fan in those days, I couldn't believe I was actually seeing them live. Saw them with Bruce 3x, Crazy Nights and twice on HITS.
The Crazy Nights album/era is one my favorite eras for Kiss! Love all the tracks off of Crazy Nights! Top 3 songs off the record, I'll Fight Hell To Hold You, Reason To Live, and Turn On The Night.
Saw this tour back in the day in Tulsa. They were with Faster Pussycat and Slaughter. Some of the band members came to the local Woodland Hills Mall. Didn't see Bruce there but met Eric Carr inside the Kaybe Toys store, and got to talk for a long while with Paul Stanley. Good times.
Great stuff. BY FAR. ONE of my BEST CONCERTS EVER... KISS in Salina Ks on Asylum tour.. I was just WOWED.... Will NEVER FORGET the COLORS ...POWER .. GIANT KISS SIGN. And of Course The LEGENDARY MUSIC....THANKS BRUCE And Company....
I got to see 3 shows during that tour. My dream came true at the Nassau Coliseum show . I finally got back stage and met you guys. I still have the signed tour book with the backstage pass on it with your autograph Bruce . I was also at both Ritz shows and yes it was hotter than hell . My buddy jumped on stage that night and Gene gave him a high 5 . One of my favorite tours of all time.
OMG, I was lucky and blessed to see KISS three times on the Crazy Nights tour! Germany, Glens Falls civic center and New Hampshire fair grounds. Bruce Kulick #1!!!!!! Great times, thanks for sharing!
@tscott. My friend Gilby drove a limo for Gene at the New Hampshire gig and soundtracks. He has pics of him with Gene. Gene made him take.all the little mini bottles of alcohol out of the limo mini bar before he drove in it.! Gilby also recorded with video camera good portion of soundtrack where they do a version of Deuce that's probably the most ferocious version I ever heard.!!
I only saw KISS twice, the Crazy Nights & Hot in the Shade tours. I was too young for the early make-up days, and I gave up my only in makeup ticket to be in a friend's wedding. I know it isn't a popular following but I preferred you to the latter years with Tommy Thayer ( I loved his Black'nBlue days.) You are awesome, thanks for the memories.
Although I knew about KISS before 1988, I started listening to their music from the release of their Crazy Nights LP. I also watched the 1988 Tokyo concert on TV around that time and absolutely enjoyed it without makeup and other additional stage theatrics.
I remember buying a music magazine in the late summer of 1987, when I'd just entered high school. I was 15. There was a long interview with Gene Simmons, where he gave a song-by-song rundown on the new album. He also reflected on 80s Kiss compared to the original lineup. He spoke fondly about both versions of the group but insisted that he didn't miss the old days. He came across as very straight forward and with a lot of affection for his then-current band mates as well as for Ace and Peter. In between the lines he made it clear that life on the road can destroy people, and he didn't enter the blame game at all.
Many people will think this is lame but this is my fav Kiss album because this is the album I was introduced to Kiss. I became a fan of Kiss's other music.
I seen that tour I was 16 years old here in Houston. It was at the summit and Ted Nugent open the show it was glorious. I am a lifelong kiss fan and I love all of your work with the band and your other stuff as well. You are a fantastic guitar player.. Cheers..
At the tender age of 13, I joined the KISS Army in 1987-88 during the Crazy Nights era. It's nice to see a great retrospective of the era I came in at.
I remember that tour well. You guys were in Louisville, I believe a day or two before or after Christmas. Freedom hall. I absolutely loved the show but our town didn't really show up that night, which really disappointed me because it was a packed house for the Asylum concert two years earlier. I know the weather had been pretty bad and it was really cold outside so maybe that played a role. But nonetheless I thought you guys put on a great performance and your guitar playing was smoking that night. I loved the light effects on the KISS sign during "Reason to Live" too. I wish I could find a pro shot of one of those concerts somewhere.
This is so refreshing compared to Gene and Paul complaining about previous band members. This is a great and interesting history lesson.
The Reason To Live Solo made me want to become a guitar player. Thank you so much for your tasty and melodic solos that inspired so many of us. Thank you!
Eu também!!!
Excellent song to start your musical career with!
The Crazy Nights tour was my first time seeing KISS live in 1988. I was 18 at the time and it was awesome. Thanks for sharing this Bruce.
For those who incessantly whine about Ace should listen to how good Bruce is here !! 🙄
Same here ! I saw real KISS for the first time in 1988 when I was 18 !
God times
👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍

My favorite lineup it's the original for obvious reasons, but KISS best lineup was definitely the one including Bruce Kulick and. Eric Carr
This was my first concert I remember you filmed the turn on the night video at the show in Worcester. I was 12 years old thank you Bruce
Thanks so much for posting these videos Bruce.
Eric was a great drummer and had such a powerful voice, what a treat to hear him again.
I was at the Freedom hall show in Johnson City TN when you became Kisstory❤🎉
It was my first time seeing Kiss that year! I was around 20 years old! I miss you being in the band Bruce! You are a great guitarist!
I am glad I ran into this video. Thanks Bruce. You were my favorite era of Kiss. Being a teen in the mid to late eighties I used to listen to this album a lot back then. Been a while so now I had to go listen through after watching this video. Thanks for taking me back.
Congratulations Mr.Bruce Kulick!
In 1988 I was a highscool senior. Great times and great music. Thanks for the video Bruce.
Congratulations on such a GREAT career!

I love 80s KISS! It was the music of my youth.
This was my first concert, Jan. 2, 1988, Knoxville, TN. I was such a massive Kiss fan in those days, I couldn't believe I was actually seeing them live. Saw them with Bruce 3x, Crazy Nights and twice on HITS.

Awesome Bruce, the very best of the non makeup era is this lineup 🤟🏼❤️
I was there at Wembley & I can't believe nothing was filmed. My first show but on that tour there was no stage production.
Great video, keep stuff like this coming.
Wow ! I enjoy this much. For me Kiss died when bruce left kiss.

12/12/87: Saw this tour in Providence, RI and it was Bruce’s birthday I think.
My first concert ever, 13 years old!
Good stuff bruce
Great memories of a period of Kisstory that I don't think about too often.
I was at 4 UK shows: Donington, Bradford and the two in Edinburgh.
Excellent, great memories. Was at Donington and Wembley, awesome shows 🤘
Thanks Bruce! Love your KISS anniversary videos. 🤘🏻
Kolorful KISS! I love Crazy Nights. Great pop rock music 😎
Good Girl Gone Bad and My Way the choice deep cuts for me.

Excelled 🧡
Way to go Bruce!
I saw this tour in Indy in ‘88. First time I saw KISS live.
I saw them perform that year at the Bell County Expo Center in Central Texas. Small crowd but they still kept the energy high and put on a great show!
Your solo is great and then you and Eric, raised to nth power musicianship
I remember that tour well. You guys were in Louisville, I believe a day or two before or after Christmas. Freedom hall. FYI: Denmark is very much a part of Scandinavia, even though the country is separated from Sweden and Norway by sea and sound. Great video, Bruce!
Yea that's what I was thinking when I watched. Don't forget the Danes
Andrew is a true soldier :')
Thank you Bruce for sharing
