Yeah you can admire his work all you want, but I’ll give you my take on it since you keep on yelling out ‘my boy’-three people died in that house that night, three. I don’t care about CTE, three people died in that house that night, only one person had the choice behind it. The other two didn’t have a choice to die. So if that’s your boy, Fook you. As a performer, amongst the five greatest I’ve ever seen in my entire life. As a performer, loved having him in ECW, was going to make him the ECW World Heavyweight Champion, was going to put him in a feud with Eddie Guerrero that would have carried us. The very first PPV was going to be Sabu vs. Taz, Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven, Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero. If we had gone on PPV in ’96, that would have been our first PPV. So as a talent, remarkable. As a human being, I don’t care about CTE, I don’t care what the reasons are, Nancy and Daniel had no option, he did. Fook him.” - Paul Heyman courtesy of Wrestlefix.com

Javier Atwood Yes the work environment. And if you don’t know the wrestling world was incredibly different prior to this. It was work, or no work and when Benoit would feel he wasn’t right the medical team constantly said he was alright. They don’t get life insurance and it’s well known the malpractice that has taken place in WWE for decades. Only reason things changed for the better was because of this situation. It was bound to happen because sadly it needed to happen in order for change to take place. Otherwise they wouldn’t have so many CTE lawsuits against them. Just think about it, what fucking reason would WWE have to continue to say that Chris Benoit committed those crimes if he truly didn't, especially when the reasoning given for why he committed them reflects poorly on them as a company and has costs them hundreds of thousands if not millions in bad press and concussion protocols. Do you honestly think that if their was even a sliver of a chance that Benoit didn't do those things WWE wouldn't be all over that to clear themselves of any wrong doing attributed to them?
