I do agree although watching any of his matches now is very difficult now. A lot of wrestlers that knew him very much liked him though they all acknowledge that he was almost always extremely intense.

This was awesome. And let me just say, I am a Brock Lesnar fan, and have been since the word go. Bur he would have been about 50% as interesting to me, and perhaps only 75% as effective, had he not gotten Paul Heyman as his spokesperson.
Loved Benoit's work and always thought he should be recognized in the hall of fame and possibly thrown in a wwe game, but I've thought of that tragedy like that. When Heyman puts it like that, he really shouldn't be in the hof, or mentioned at all. It's sad, but true.

Loved Benoit's work and always thought he should be recognized in the hall of fame and possibly thrown in a wwe game, but I've thought of that tragedy like that. When Heyman puts it like that, he really shouldn't be in the hof, or mentioned at all. It's sad, but true.
WWE will never put him in the HoF, it would be business suicide. If you don't remember, the media storm around the Benoit Tragedy had quite nearly killed Professional Wrestling in North America. Could you imagine the hellish shitstorm of a backlash they'd get for trying to honor a man who killed his wife and child as an outstanding performer?
What's funny is he didn't bring up Benoit out of nowhere; the fan kept yelling "My boy!" and that prompted Heyman to address it properly.
