I will be 37 years old, living in Hungary. I know what it's like to live like this, I know what it's like to be down in the dust. For decades, we just survived the days. My mother always fought for me. Lately, our life is starting to get easier. As a retiree, I can sometimes help her financially, but I don't have money from work... l mean thrash is what they started but it doesn’t mean that they have to remain thrash. Korn changed and they still good too its okay to start as a underground heavy metal band but it’s also okay to change and experiment with other genres and sounds.

When you go from underground thrash band, to mega popular metal band and accrue a hardcore fanbase who always want that heavy, thrash, angry sound. But the band grew up, and they stopped drinking and taking drugs and weren’t the same people. Its hard for fans who have been there from the start to accept the directional change, however, some of their best work came after 95 even if it was a departure in sound. I’m gery glad they changed direction and carried on making fantastic music, instead of being another aging band who tried to replicste their youthful sound and lost touch and burnt out. All the best bands evolve, its just metallica are unique in their popularity and influence over the thrash scene.

+toomanyaccounts When times are tough and you don't know how to change it, you try to convince yourself that it's what you want to stave off the terrible things like depression and despair. The really sad part is that quite a few actually do convince themselves, embracing the lie, and becoming unable to change.
Did you honestly believe such a broken voice? That she truly enjoyed the life she was in? That she could raise her child properly? That she could be what society wanted of her if she desired?
I know those eyes, I've seen them in the mirror. I know that voice, I've heard it from my own lips. When you're trapped by circumstance or fate, you have to change. But having something to lose makes that change very difficult indeed.
I'm one of the lucky ones. I changed. I hope everyone else who goes through a similar Hell manages to change and escape.

    "Turn The Page"
    (originally by Bob Seger)
On a long and lonesome highway east of Omaha
You can listen to the engines moanin' out its one note song
You can think about the woman or the girl you knew the night before
But your thoughts will soon be wandering the way they always do
When you riding sixteen hours there's nothing much to do
And you don't feel much like ridin', you just wish the trip was through
Here I am, on the road again
There I am, up on the stage
Here I go, playin' star again
There I go, turn the page
So you walk into this restaurant, all strung-out from the road
And you feel the eyes upon you, as you're shaking off the cold
You pretend it doesn't bother you, but you just want to explode
And most times you can't hear 'em talk, other times you can
All the same old clichés, "Is it woman? Is it man?"
And you always seem outnumbered, you don't dare make a stand
    Make your stand
Here I am, on the road again
There I am, up on the stage
Here I go, playin' star again
There I go, turn the page
Out there in the spotlight you're a million miles away
Every ounce of energy you try to give away
As the sweat pours out your body, like the music that you play
Later in the evening, as you lie awake in bed
With the echoes of the amplifiers ringin' in your head
You smoke the day's last cigarette, rememberin' what she said
    What she said
Here I am, on the road again
There I am, up on the stage
Here I go, playin' star again
There I go, turn the page
There I go, turn that page
    There I go, yeah
    There I go, yeah
    There I go, yeah
    Here I go, yeah
    There I go
    There I go
    And I'm gone

Bob Seger wrote this song because people judged him and his band because of their long hair. Sound familiar lttejames? Among many bands, Metallica covered this song. It stands as an incredible rock version. Bob Seger is the master singer/song writer of this song. Only love for all the bands that cover this incredible song. No judgement only love.

This video is so complex. It’s raw emotion, dark, and captures so many feelings of single parent doing the daily grind to provide for their kids at any cost to themselves. An exceptional piece of music artistry

On a long and lonesome highway, east of Omaha
You can listen to the engines moanin' out his one old song
Think about the woman or the girl you knew the night before
But your thoughts will soon be wanderin', the way they always do
When you're ridin' sixteen hours and there's nothin' much to do
And you don't feel much like ridin', you wish the trip was through
Here I am, on the road again, here I am, up on the stage
Here I go, playin' star again, there I go, turn the page
So you walk into this restaurant, all strung out from the road
And you feel the eyes upon you, as you're shakin' off the cold
You pretend it doesn't bother you, but you just want to explode (yeah, oh)
Most times you can't hear 'em talk, other times you can
All the same old cliché's, "is it woman, or is it man"
And you always seem outnumbered, you don't dare make your stand
    Make your stand
Ah, here I am, on the road again, here I am, up on the stage
Here I go, playin' star again, there I go, turn the page
    Whoa, hey
Out there in the spotlight, you're a million miles away
Every ounce of energy, you try and give away
As the sweat pours out your body, like the music that you play
Later in the evenin', as you lie awake in bed
With the echoes of the amplifiers, ringin' in your head
You smoke the day's last cigarette, rememberin' what she said
    What she said
Oh, here I am, on the road again, here I am, up on that stage
Here I go, playin' star again, there I go, turn the page
Here I go, turn that page
Here I go, there I go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I'm a rock and roll god
    Here I go
    Here I go
    Here I go, oh whoa
    Here I go

No new children fathered by me. I hope i would succeed now but until this year.. i would be a horrible parent so it worked out for the best !!
Such responsibility !! "ALL" their choices are on your shoulders.. one day NONE have to be.. responsible guidance ? needs responsible teachings !
Tom of MBT suggests : give them data.. warn them, even when they act like they arent listening.. they hear you. They will come to trust your open but warning.. guidance without forcing.. tell them that this choice equals all these complicated possible outcomes.. and choosing for themselves.. is very difficult. Just be there when they ask.. slowly let them choose more and more by careful evaluation
I now agree with the 21 drinking age. My bro died trying not to hit a drunk dude walking out into the streets... i was 17.. i drowned myself in alcohol and misery, not knowing the great lessons it would bring me later. Evaluate someone and their mindset not at 18, 21 is much more correct.. but 21-22 will tell them, and observers.. far more than anything previously did ! so how does 21 fail ? if the 22nd year is the one of most importance and they go off the rails like i did at 18 ?
I mean, TRAINWRECK off the rails.. with a license.. and a hand on a bottle.. luckily didnt kill some other poor soul. I would have deserved it, 100% what i felt. GUILT is fear, unwrap it inside yourself.. as with all fear, it just hides your own truth, and courage. A paper tiger. Dreams as a kid ? stuck on a road.. cant move. Car coming. Irony is.. funny... but no laughing matter here. Children, any management of other people.. is everything.

Major respect to Metallica for using this Seger cover to humanize a single mom by showing how her experience actually aligns with that of Segers Rocker/Freak. We are allowed to see her compared to a rocker on tour: like them she is a consummate professional who on stage, wields the ancient psychic exchange of performance, but offstage, seen through the gaze of small minded people, is an unwelcome, scapegoated,0 taboo-breaking outsider. Your mama loves you, kid.
