She didn’t deserve the first challenge win there was way, way better costumes that spoke volumes of where people was from. She was ratchet and there’s ratchet all over London, England, UK, Europe etc etc she could’ve been from anywhere for all I know. (East Londoner speaking) she was gassed up by Ru and herself. Dancer where? The only saving grace she has was being gracious in defeat after talking a whole bunch of smack.
I think you can tell Tia put her whole in it whilst I’m not sure Asttina did. I’m an Asttina stan as well, so I know that she could have gone harder with her performance. Tia was just giving her 100%

Asttina gave us a dance routine, while Tia gave us lip sync, that's why she won It's sad that Asttina went home (she was my favourite) but this decision makes sense Also it's nice to see, that RuPaul and DR producers are not scared of sending a frontrunner home, as it makes show far less predictable

After RuPaul sent home Trixie over pearl she said somewhere that in certain instances she'll keep a queen that she thinks has more to offer the competition than another. I think that, combined with the fact that Tia didn't actually do poorly at all, is what happened.
Ru has said that she thought Pearl's performance captured the rawness of that song more than Trixie's campy and happy performance. I can see what she means, even if I personally would have kept Trixie. @@asjchy123
Ever since Joe Black went home day one I was like... oh Henny, this is gonna be a SEASON. And it has not disappointed. I adore Joe Black and it turns out, every single queen this season is incredible... Astina is so gorgeous too. Her smile is everything. Ugh this is one of the best seasons ever...
If Asttina would have served a bit more emotion, this would have easily been a double save. Tia just gave a full performance with everything her heart could muster, thats why she won. She's so lovable

This is very similar to Rose and Olivia Lux in episode 1. Both were GOOD. Rose / Asttina performed for a club. She had the right to be cocky. The girl had the chops. But Olivia / Tia performed for Drag Race LSFYL. Which is why Olivia / Tia won. Also the same reason Peppermint / Sasha Velour won their rounds.
But tbh the lipsync should have been Ginny vs Tia cause Asttina’s outfit is boring for Asttina’s standards, but its still by far better than what both Ginny and Tia brought to the runway

I think Tia made more of a connection with the judges with her big plaintive, pleading eyes.
Tbh Tia's expressions and energy just matched with the lyrics better than whatever Asttina was going for.
