Placing the subwoofers on the floor and near the walls makes the bass more effective. You’ll get more bass amplification. You’ll also feel the vibrations easier.
the bass module is a downward firing subwoofer , you won't understand any bass if it's kept on the shelf. Having two 10 inch bass units for a room that size is overkill. You're not feeling any bass because they're kept on the shelf. For the surround both speakers should be placed at the same level you'll get extremely uneven surround sound. It'll be uneven and unbalanced.

why did you put the bass units on cabinets!! that MDF ply will not even provide that much of absorption . you need to put them on floor and put CORK 2-3 inches thick beneath them since you got marble/ceramic tiled floor. Better get rugs for your space...that would isolate and absorb any distortion

Bro your speaker placement is severely lacking. Put the subwoofers on the floor and mount the surround speakers either both high or both low. Ideally the surround speakers would be mounted at ear level, so roughly the middle of the wall.

For Everyone commenting that i had a bad subs placement, Thats because i just opened the box back then, and didnt bother to move the furniture. But I have put the subs on the floor with cushion, and the sound is just as great. Didnt have problem before as well but even i like them on the floor, rather than on the console. Dude not just ur subs. Everything. What a terrible way to ruin a good system. This is the issue with people who buy Bose they don’t know anything and then expect it to just sound good. Fix it recalibrate and then listen.
