Well we all grew up a bit in the past 11 years. I was already an adult and a mom then. I’m 40 now. I felt so out of place at the time. Now I find that after their solo careers started a lot of people who are older fall into it, mostly because they discovered Harry and looked into everything he’s done including 1D stuff. I wish I could share that with my daughter who’s 16, it’d be so much fun, but she couldn’t care less about any of it (she’s also autistic and her version of being a fan involves kids cartoon characters). I feel like you didn’t really react to the clips or you didn’t really get half of them (them being showed out of context and quite short didn’t help, I’m sure). He’s definitely an ally at the very least. And in the end his sexual orientation doesn’t matter and shouldn’t matter to anyone but himself.
