I really love how Zayn treated Harry he would always listen to him during Interviews, letting him express (even though it doesn't make sense) and doesn't make him feel bad like the others do. One of the things I like about their dynamic. For example, like now instead of making fun of Harry like Liam and Louis always do when Harry gives a stupid answer, Zayn puts his hand on Harry's back letting Harry know he has his back without making Harry feel or look stupid. Zayn pays attention to each and every thing Harry says and never ever made fun of him. This is why Zayn is a great guy Zayn. I fucking Love him with all my heart. Thank you for reacting to 1D videos. I really miss it.

Well if Harry would stop saying stupid things then probably Louis and Liam wouldn't be so anxious to point those things out. Harry has been an embarrassment to the entire band. And how Harry managed to get a bigger solo career than the other guys. It certainly isn't based on talent. Even within their band he is, at best the third best singer, and frequently Niall beats him to that spot.
i always found harry & zayn to be the closest in the band, the way they'd always be stuck at each other's side in concerts, always whispering & giggling alone in the corner while the others did their thing, they just seemed like rlly good friends and were my fave dynamic in the grp. i also noticed that harry seemed to take it the hardest between them when zayn left.

9:36 Z is by far the most eloquent out of all of them imo. When he wants to he can be super intelligent and very very captivating like you said. He is enigma to me, one of the most unique individuals i know. You can't put him in a box, you can't call him introvert or extrovert or anything, he is just Z. He can be super charismatic when he wants too♥️

Zayn and Harry have this very special bond , respecting admiring each other in every way they could ..the way they looked at each other their eyes literally speaks volumes that glow on their faces when they are with each other and them being their true selves whilst with each other is so precious and adorable ❤️
5:46 bc H has slow cadence to his speech, he normally takes his time(lot of time) to form an opinion which is something interviewer didn't really liked and they would interapt him, or not even listen to him most of the time. That's why Z being Z and amazing listener is so important to H. He feels being heard around him ♥️
3:25 Z has always been very protective over boys. Jokingly we called him mom of the group, he is very caring and perceptive person, so he would always feel whenever boys needed his help and this is what is happening here. He knew H was uncomfortable so he take the lead and that's the most Z thing ever. Being reserved person and not liking to be in the centre but would still do anything for a friend in need. Such a sweet man.
3:59 he was looking at H while answering. This man is so caring even when he was protecting H he still wanted to check with H if what he was saying was okay with him as well.
Max is right, Zayn is such a good listener, he might even understands Harry's “the good thing about this movie is that it feels like a movie” better than the way Chris Pine did 🤣
Zayn would have patted Harry's back and nodded in reassurance, had he been there by Harry's side😂😂
Zayn used to be loud, the funniest, maddest member of One Direction, according to the others that were sharing the X-Factor house, but then he had his 'mysterious' persona forced on him and became a lot quieter. I hope they're all better friends again one day - he obviously was left with a very bitter taste after he left.
Loved what you said in the end about how Zayn makes it obvious how much he cares about Harry. I agree with you.
He always stuck up for Harry when interviewers would try to bring him down.
One time, Harry was accused of being a womaniser and I loved the way Zayn came in and stuck up for him directly, saying "He's not a womaniser" and then turned to Harry, putting an arm around him saying "it's alright man. I know the real you." 😭
Harry also cares for and loves Zayn a lot, which is why he pushed for the hiatus in November 2014. He knew the effect it was having on Zayn. He saw the ED Z was going through.
But, it was rejected unfortunately which caused Zayn to break down completely and just leave. (I'm so glad he left when he did. He really needed to get out.)
With Zayn gone, Harry pushed for the hiatus even more because he couldn't stand being there without Zayn.
That speaks volumes on exactly how close Zarry really were.

I have a bunch of Zarry compilations I made he should react to the N (•)(•) and 🍑 slapping marathon Zayn couldn't keep his hands off Harry's 🍑 and N (•)(•) and he even fingered him in the 🍑 I wanna see him react to that , also Harry grabbed Zayn's 🦴 in a video and photo all real videos and photos no manips what else the Bl0w Job sings and hand job sing that Harry did to Zayn and they did back and forth to each other, oh and Zayn poking Harry in the 🍑 twice with the stick of his microphone and one time he stuck it in his 🍑 and went up and down with it over and over is on video - um try to explain that body language 👀

We don’t know why, or if, Harry pushed for a break in 2014. We also don’t know why he would have pushed for it. It is speculation that he was thinking of Zayn and that’s why he wanted the hiatus.

I really truly don’t understand why people have a fit whenever Zayn and Harry are mentioned in the same sentence. People need to get over the fact that they were friends in 1D and stuck up for each other. This was a non biased observation and a very good one at that.

Fun Fact: Harry and Zayn would go crazy if they didn't share a room together in their earlier days while traveling and stuff. They always wanted to be together, they interacted the most during concerts and showed the most physical affection. (Despite what others might say, it's obvious they were the most comfortable with each other) I feel like their friendship was lowkey and not so out loud or in your face. But they certainly shared the strongest bond out of all of them. When Zayn left the band it hit Harry the hardest for sure.
Based on what you say they would go crazy if they weren't sharing rooms lol been a fan for years, this is the first i've heard such thing. Yes they were friends but thing ab rooms seems made up, nothing's personal and if you say it bc there was one clip of them where they sleep together and boys wake them up, it was literally years ago and doesn't necessarily mean they were pair up for rooms all the time. He lived with louis doesn't mean they would pair up for room either.

I think they were extremely close and cared for each other alot. And they also showed if not much but a little physical affection during there concerts. Which is also a great sign of there closeness and trust on each other❤️ and not to mention how zayn cared and reacted to everything harry said. Idk if it’s me but i have noticed sometimes other boys would make fun of harry’s silliness(which obv doesn’t make them bad) but on the other hand zayn would always be laughing at harry’s silly jokes and like patting him on back to calm him down.

thanks for doing zayn and harry ❤ i find that with them the best way to gauge their dynamic is through their interactions during concerts or in compilations of interview clips with the rest of the band. they can kind of be a little reserved in most of their major solo interviews, but they were without a doubt the closest duo in the band. you would be surprised at just how obsessed they were with each other. at times they simply couldn’t stay away and would gravitate towards each other nonstop. they understood each other on a deeper level and were really in tune with the other’s emotions. harry tends to be distracted a lot like that in interviews but in that specific one they had already done a lot of interviews that day and were probably waiting to get out of there. it was also the day everyone found out that zayn got engaged so it’s interesting that harry was a bit aloof…

They were so little and thought they had to entertain everyone. So sad that nobody was telling them they could say no to such invasive and rude questions and asks(((

They were asked unbelievably inappropriate questions by people who were supposed to be adults. Some of them just made the boys visibly uncomfortable and some were downright rude, especially to Harry. If Harry was seen with a girl, the press said he was dating her. So he would get these rude questions about whether he was a womanizer and got the most girls in the group and all of that.
Comfortable with each other is an understatement

I've noticed that Harry was more articulate when he was younger and he didn't start each sentence off with "the" or "I think" I want to know what happened to change his his conversational skills.
Well they’re comfortable because they were in a relationship together. You need to watch the show video. The proof is out there. Z was always more closeted than H and still is. Their solo albums weave into each other’s in lyrics to this day. They’ve been seen with woman but for PR. The true true fans know they’ve always been in love with each other.
I think the thing about the second clip is that it is such a different environment. Harry is a bit distracted because there's so many people and things happening and has he like to give everyone attention it gets a little more difficult to pay attention to what Zayn' answers are. But I also noticed and appreciated Zayn's little nudge to kinda bring Harry back to the interview

Oh, Max! Thank you for the Zarry content. I love these two together. They definitely have a special bond, 2 out of 5! The reason Harry was distracted at the premier was because Zayn had just gotten engaged and Perrie was gonna join him on the red carpet later on. We don't know if it was a PR engagement, but Harry was not happy about it. They love each other very much.

Harry broke up the band 6 months after Zayn left and theirs interviews to proof that the others wanted to continue but they said it was what Harry wanted.Harry on stage "there is nothing where he use to lie" . He change the lyriscs so that people can get a wakeup call who he is singing about.Today his lyrics is still expressing his hunger for this person.They were both stupid to hide their relationship from media which resulted in lots of beards and PR relationships. Its 2024 and they becoming more bold in slowly revealing who their tru love is.I will encourage the fake ships to stop photoshop pics and claim it true.Comme on be brave to admit with all evidences proved in AD domentary analysis that Zarry is not a ship but true love.💛💚

As always -great video! Love learning more about communication through your videos. Do you have any book recommendations to widen my knowledge ? I already read "How to Win Friends and Influence People" which is a great basic.
Thanks! Hmm depends what you're looking for. I loved "Talk Like Ted", it's a bit more about Public Speaking, but a lot of it totally applies to everyday communication. If you're looking to up your negotiation skills, "Never Split The Difference" is really solid. "The Power of Vulnerability" by Brene Brown is great too. I don't know if this would typically be a "communication" book, but it certainly helped me understand how to communicate better. And then .. "How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships"... Good luck :)

In earlier days Zayn seemed very protective of Harry in the interviews like that. Harry was the youngest guy and not ready for these pushy interviewers, Zayn was probably the only guy who understood that well and genuinelly cared to protect him, unlike Louis who would turn everything to joke, some times on Harry's expense. There's one revulting interview around the same time as the first clip (they were 18-19 there) where interviewer asked them some very personal stuff and Zayn was so easy to cut them out, in a chilled and joking way because he noticed Harry being taken aback by the question completely (not blaming him, that was painful to watch really). When they become older their dynamic changed to some kind of confidant nature)) Still I feel like they're two people who understood the best the struggles the other one had. It's sad they seem to be on no terms at all right now (or maybe it's just how general public views it). I hope they will make amends with time.
12:06 i think H leaned a lot as well along the way. The way he was mostly distracted during interview when he wasn't speaking was instantly forgotten bc he knows if he pays attention at the very end, and charms the person, they are more likely to forgot the rest and think ab how very attentive he was lol cheeky and sneaky

Zayn and Harry are the epitome of opposite attracts. Whether u believe its just a friendship or something more, u can't deny that they really cared for each other most out of the band. I don't go sentimental easily and i'm mostly a Harry fan but i really wish they wd interact again.

Was that the same interview when harry said, "if he is (leaving), then he's not doing a very good job"? I forgot which interview. I wonder if harry could sense that zayn wanted to leave, but he just didn't expect it to happen and he was positive that it wouldn't, so when zayn left for real it caught him off guard and that's why he was petty in interviews about zayn's departure (zebra, paperwork was the hardest part, etc)

What I have always liked about their friendship was their pure love and care for each other , and this is rare to find , and they were so blessed to have what they had. This is why I miss them together so dearly…. The times when they felt the most happiest , loving and caring for each other , Unconditionally. So there are some interview clips, especially from the band's later years, when Zayn is usually overshadowed by the others in the group, and Harry almost seems to push Zayn to the front, (sometimes even physically pulling him albeit in a subtle manner), or sometimes Harry would almost get offended if the interviewer hushed Zayn, even if it was to let Harry talk. It would be great to see you analyze those interactions, because I think it reflects how much Harry cared for Zayn and how hyper-aware he was of Zayn's comfort or rather the lack of it, in such situations, just instinctively.
