Lovely Lovely Lovely! You do such good work. That plant is how old? 20 years? This spring while shopping they had a lot of Pieris. First time I’ve seen in stores. Interesting to me most of the customers I talked to over several trips shopping😉 had no clue what they were or that they’re evergreen etc… I managed to talk one lady into a Flaming Silver lol! Thank you, always love watching you clean things up❤

20 years is just about right. They are fairly popular here. Just the right weather - not too sunny/warm. I started posting on UA-cam regularly while the pandemic restriction started Now 3 years later, posting video has become a past-time, second just to gardening. Thanks for your continual support!

Did you fertilize? My shrubs are probably 20 years old in part shade in Zone 7b/8. I have cut out all the inside dead wood, and I am trying to kick start new growth. Yours is beautiful.

I did not target this plant for fertilizing but sure they get some from the general application I made early Spring. Main reason is I want it to not grow so much. Pruning alone can stimulant quick and lots of growth. Would suggest an application of slow release prior to warm summer. Either all purpose or for acid loving plants would do

@@GardenNotes Thanks. Since mine don't get full sun, I am going to fertlize some way. They are are only about 4 ft tall.
