Hi there. I love the blooms which is why I got this plant for winter interest. If I don’t want to cut off blooms when is the best time I should prune to shape? In late Winter or Spring? I get confused. Thank you.
Prune right after it has done blooming. Next year’s flowers have not formed (although not visible) so it is safe to prune without any risk of removing next season’s blooms. Happy pruning!
Must have planted about 20 years ago. It was such a small plant from a 4 inch pot. In our coastal zone 8, it take full to part sun. Thanks for your comments!
Thanks for sharing. I was able to get a lot of tips.
Glad it was helpful!. There are other videos on my channel for maintaining the cloud pruning. This helps the air and light

What varietal of pieris is this?
I do not have the variety but guess this is the most common one around. Purchased long time ago when I had neither knowledge nor budget 😊 Sorry!

You're so welcome! Thanks for letting me know! 🙏🏻
How old is your Pieris and do you know the best location to plant one (sunny, partial sun, partial shade)? Great work!
