What I like about seeing this score is its variety; It isn't busy all the time showing off. Yes, it has its moments, but they are subordinate to the overall effect. Sometimes the listener is allowed to rest in silence, appreciate some melody and lyricism or just languish in a beautiful chord or chord change. It has the deep river power of inventiveness rather than the shallow creek energy of the merely frenetic.
+Mike Jones The recording I used is from finals. The only thing I left out of the intro is the percussion. I started transcribing at the Mellophone solo. On the recording, it starts at 29 seconds.
+TheCandidWayfarer OK thanks, on the recording I have, I had to turn the volume all the way up to hear the intro, they must be facing backfield. Great job!
I was introduced to corps in 1993. This is still my favorite show ever. I love actually hearing uplifting melodies.
mrfld 1993 had some VERY good shows from multiple corps

That’s exactly right.
Exactly why I loved marching this show, along with the many music and drill capitulations.
My high school is playing a version of this for our show this year
fuck that's good
HAHAHA!! I marched this show!!!! VERY cool!!!
Do you have the brass sheets?

@@TheRailwayDrone Would you mind emailing me them? I would love to take a look!!
@@dci_fan0345 Sure! As soon as I get home from my vacation, I'll scan them. I'll just need an email.
The mello parts are too cool!

Wow very well done
Sick transcription.
Thanks! There are definitely some mistakes (I only spent a couple of days on it), but it should be pretty close.

+Mike Jones They are. Hence why it says "Backfield" in the score.
