@@jacob_1866 No, if this was true you would be dead. We all need various levels of warning signals to tell the body how dehydrated you are, which governs your thirst apestat, such symptoms as dry mouth, difficulty performing tasks, sore back, headaches and excessive thirst.
The body is a very complicated machine, and to think that's it's own mechanisms developed throughout evolution are ineffective means as a species we would have died out.
Think about it, you passed a waterhole, and you not being thirsty didn't drink, then 20mins later you drop dead, because you were so badly dehydrated and the body didn't warn you, you were actually really thirsty and should have drank, but the body was Incompetent.
Listen to thirst, hunger and tiredness as these are designed to teach you, become your own expert
So the gist is ... Listen to your body.

I take watermelon, apples and bananas every morning as my breakfast. It fills me up for 3 or 4 hours before I feel for drinking water. This explanation makes so much sense to me now.
Very good habit to drink some water before you eat anything 1st thing in the morning it flushes then system .

Very true. I eat lots of veggies like celery, lots of fruit and I don't need much fluid. Kidney has to overwork if we drink by the gallons, even by filtering water. I do drink more before I exercise. Any excess water is lodged in your knees, joints ....and it's not the goop you need. The Americans live with marketing. Now fruit is bad for you because of fructose!

Matt Stone talked about excessive water drinking in one of his books...that it actually causes your metabolism to get messed up. I do drink 16 oz. of water upon awaking, and drink water in the afternoon, but I rely on the water in food and other beverages for much of the day. If I feel truly dry/thirsty then, of course, I drink more. I live in the high desert of New Mexico, so I pay attention. Take a look at your urine. If it is dark yellow, that is not good...you are dehydrated. But, your urine doesn't need to be totally clear either. MODERATION.

They probably also have high levels of calcium and low of vitamin k2. Most likely that is the cause.

Actually I'm cerca 40 years and I don't drink alot of water...
Maybe 2 or 3 cups a week... it is the first time in my live that I hear something like the Guru said.. actually, have start in my family... doctors.. etc.. all them said the same.. that I must drink every days cerca the 2 litter... what is really impossible to me..
Was a time that I have really tried.. well.. I have feel so bad... but so bad that I have thinking I'm going dead 🙃
My lest check up was in Mars and everything was OK with me..
I take no medicine, no vitamins... nothing... I have no problems in my system, and all works good.
Maybe this is not for all of us.. but in my situation, belive me... doesn't give me nothing good to drink a lot of water...

I always drink when I am thirsty. There is no need to be holding a bottle of water every minute of the day.
This is true! My doc has been telling me my water is low. After about a year I ended up with a stroke. My water and electrolytes were a mess. My wife was pregnant at the time and I dreamed about our unborn son three times. In one dream he took me under the ocean and showed me the polar icecaps. He told me to drink more water to keep myself cool. I even stopped eating meat since it was affecting my kidneys since it was affecting my water level. The docs could not find any cause for my stroke. My blood vessels were clear and I did not smoke or drink. I think my chronic dehydration thickened my blood and my electrolytes were off. Now I eat more fruits and veggies and drink tons of water like crazy and recovering astronomically. You can’t even tell I had a stroke.

This is so true. It is clearly mentioned in ayurved. Also drinking water while eating is harmful as well. Drinking a lot of water immediately after a meal is dangerous too, you can have a sip just to clear your throat before and after having a meal.
Drinking larger quantity at once then take a few hours gap is better than constantly drinking sips every now and then.
Acid reflux/ acidity and gastric issues are lowered marvelously if a healthier way is adapted.

This is exactly what I always do. I drink around 1.5litres of water per day and I gulp a few extra amount only when I am thirsty. I don't continuously sip water. As Sadhguru said eat fruits which have high water content also. You don't need 4 litres of water if you are just staying home doing minimal work.
Also there's a lot of misinformation people are saying, " take small sips through the day ".. this terrible information. Because by doing this it's possible not to drink the right amount.. and secondly by doing this, more water gets absorbed than should be when taken in small sips through the day. Leading to fluid retention and less urination.

Water consumption is different for everyone depending on circumstance I work outside all day in the hot sun and I usually drink 2 to 3 liters a day but on days off I drink maybe a liter and I feel pretty good.

That depends on the type of stones one has. It is common for minerals to be dissolved in a medium with certain range of pH value (a measure of acidity/alkalinity/neutrality), but if that level goes off it's normal range, some minerals will precipitate i.e. they'll not be charged and floating, but will fall down.
Not all the stones in the body are formed the same. You have dental tartar, kidney stones, gallbladder stones, even delicate brain membranes can calcify over time if the balance is off.
Not in every case, but it's mostly due to calcium-magnesium disbalance that one has calcium deposits in soft tissues (where they shouldn't be). There's also a huge role that fat soluble vitamins (A,D and K2) play in this process, which is also crucial for making bones and teeth.

Your brain has 1 liter of water and needs to be "refreshed" every day. Headaches come from drinking not enough water.
Excessive water may lead to Hypernatreamia.

BUT BY THE TIME ONE IS THIRSTY THATS ALREADY DEHYDRATION . DUH
He is a extreme good talker and a brilliant psychologist. Like I say, I have watch and study most of his video and observe his behaviors, body language, movement and even the way he laugh. I don't believe him. Put it simple. A wise man will not get angry (he did though he never show). Mock at people, twisting answer and making little jokes at that person giving him a hard question which he unable to answer correctly. And when that person try to pull him back to answer the question instead of swaying away. He gets angry and try to make that person feels guilty just that people thought that he is a wise man. Making jokes at that person as if he a fool. People start to clap hands. Brilliant move. Observe closely people.
Drinking water in small sips has been my habit for more than 15 years and as I listened to the scientists I started to do it even more to reach the minimum 1 liter a day of water recommended by them. Today I find out a huge lie and it's crazy when I think about it. So thank you Sadhguru.

My 82 yr old mother drinks entirely too much water, one time she even drowned herself and had to be hospitalized, and surprisingly she always complains about headaches and migraines I honestly think it’s due to consuming way too much water at this point she has unfortunately given herself vertigo that’s something that doesn’t run in our family at all, so I’m thinking due to all this water she’s drinking that’s where her head issues are coming from…I’m going to send her the video hopefully she listens..
She might be diabetic.
