Shouldn't the tension be tested at the center distance between the two pulleys on the belt rather than being closer to one pulley than the other?
That was my question after watching the video since, measuring closer to either sheave will increase pressure required to deflect.
If those lines are 10 lbs increments you set it to 25 not 15.

Note five years ago a keen eye noticed that the gauge has increments of ten SO he noticed that it was set at 25 Not 15 as described in the video BUT any how the vast majority of industrial mechanics SHOULD know this right ?
