I would add that lions that conquer another pride not only kill it, but eat it. It is still an easy and free meal, especially with cubs. Lions are known to cannibalize each other in the absence of food. The life of a lion is brutal, but if you are born a lion you are one of the 3 strongest animals on the planet. You are strong, fast and your bite is one of the deadliest. The only danger to you are your fellow lions who want to conquer power and hunters who want your skin. Lions in the wild do not live long, but if you know how to play it right you can even die of old age. because all animals fears you.

The lion in his habitat is one of the top 3 strongest animal in Africa continent. Talking about carnivores. Without making comparisons but If you are born as a lion you have high chance to survive in nature. You are playing in easy mode.
