I think a lot of men like cats, but just don't want to admit it because they think it makes them less "manly" somehow.
@@cate9540Yeah unfortunately they've got reason to not admit it. Google it, there's been studies. When it comes to dating profiles, the women in the study rated men less masculine when pictures with cats instead of dogs, sadly. The study isn't perfect of course but the belief isn't just in their head.
@@cate9540 Well, then they should know that ladies tend to be more attracted to a man if he's a cat person vs. a dog person, according to studies. :)
I can also confirm, we girls go mad over cute guys babying their cats, I'm not kidding. 😂
I was jogging in Griffith Park Los Angeles Cali, and found an orange tabby kitten that looks just like Oscar. I named him Kiddo. 13+ years later he is still my pal. We've lost a few dogs to old age, and have added another cat or two, but Kiddo is still with me & I can't think of a day without him.
I know Oscar will bring you the same joy & love that Kiddo has to me. Thank you for saving Oscar & giving him a life!

The fear in his eyes tho.... Don't know how he got there or whether he was thrown there but good people still exist. With all the wars and problems going on in the world today, a little positivity is necessary
probably too hungry and smells some rotten food there so he jumped in and couldn't get out... judging from the way oscar wants "human food" tells all... next if he's already familiar with his cat food, he won't beg much for human food... 😊
The way he darted away from them in the dumpster shows he had been on the street to be that small but that concerned about being picked up. I'd guess he got himself trapped in there

Big thumbs up to these young people. The guy who went to save the cat needs an award. He could have made a joke out of it and leave it there. But he did the right thing. And the girl who adopted the cat, was in a right place at a right time. They were meant for each other!

My cat Gracie was found in a dumpster with her siblings, right behind the local grocery store. All kittens were saved and brought to the shelter, where we got to adopt her while all her other siblings got to be with other families…. Proud to say that Gracie turned 16 earlier this year, and she’s still as spry and energetic as ever! ❤
Im from Germany and I also found my cat while I was dumpster diving. She was very sick and docile already so I was able to just pic her with no refusal. It was not sure if she will survive but my vet and I did our best and here she is now: spoiled rotten, loved and an absolute diva. The only leftover is a chronic cold but it's not so bad most of the time. I also got her a little friend from a cat rescue, they are the best cats I could wish for. Adopt don't shop
These kind hearted, sweet kids, showed up in the nick of time and made all the difference for a helpless kitten. I hope there are many more like them because this is what our country and our world desperately need right now. I appreciate how you all worked together and quickly made things right, especially the caring young man who went in the dumpster.

Hungry kitten likely went into the dumpster by himself seeking food, then realized too late he couldn't climb back out. It's fortunate he was found before the trash truck got there.

Our Oscar was found double bagged and also thrown in a dumpster. He is a also a ginger but a Manx. He was about 4/5 weeks old.

I saved a cat from a dumpster once. I adopted and loved him for 12 years, and then he developed a heart problem and died. The vet couldn't save him. He was a good friend.
Just remember just because you love animals make sure you can take care of them as in a good income
I have a "dumpster cat" too. She's my profile photo. Her name is Lisa and she also will eat everything. She'll be 4 years old in a few weeks. Oscar is a beautiful kitten and I'm glad he has a loving home!

Why would someone abandon such a beautiful kitten ?
Aww so glad they were rescued! Poor things. They now have happy homes! We rescued 3 kittens and a larger kitten that looked just like Oscar and they all have good homes now. Then a black and white cat followed us in for cuddles, food and water and our maltese dog was playing mama by licking the kittens, it was so sweet and tried to lick the cat but the cat wasn't having it lol we put it online and the owners found it, so all happy endings! Now we are just trying to find 5 more homes for kittens that were abandoned. They keep showing up at our door or when my husband walks my dog. One poor kitten was stuck up in a tree. Animals are precious and being so much joy. If you cant have kitten's then give to a car adoption center, there are a lot of great adoption centers or keep if you can until you can give them to a good home. Its terrible to see someone put them in a trash can! Thanks for helping them!
