Please I have question what is the difference between (talk back) and (talk down to)
Great question! Talk back: This is when somebody replies quite rudely (usually a student to a teacher or a child to their parent etc). For example: My daughter always talks back to me.
Talk down to: When you talk to someone who you believe is not as clever or important as you. This might be something a child would complain about! For example "My parents always talk down to me as if I am stupid. I'm 16, I'm not a kid anymore."
Hope this helps?
