The only reason why its the hardest game to drift is because it actually uses real life physics lol. I hate it when developers say "we've implemented drift physics in the game", meaning it doesn't take real skills and the game is full of assists. You have amazing skills, respect.
Pretty much. The fact you have to have a welded diff, a longer wheel base and sometimes some steering tunes, just tells you that it's more than just flick the wheel and gas. There's the technique ,the actual tuning of the car, the road angle , the tire compound and size, the gear ratios ,the Hp and Torque, the throttle input, the weight...... and more. You may not need to change all of these but you can though when you need to. This is why this game is UNMATCHED in this , the realism spectrum, it really has potential. Probably one of the reasons the devs will probably continue the updates to it. Until it reaches the top in all ways.👌👍
@cleanname4439 most likely you wheel. Beamng is known for it pretty good FF. And they just rolled out a update on it a few weeks ago, making it better. Problem is, there's so much tuning you have to do to get it right ,since theres so much and it's not simple. But if you get it right ,it's mint👌 Look at the way the guy is turning the wheel in the vid, that looks pretty realistic
@@cleanname4439 I think that you could get that wheel to perform well enough. There are some videos online showing you how to tune the settings (for the g29). @@theniceguy777 I think people say drifting in beamng is hard because their ffb, like me with the g29 I can have it on almost 500 strengh and the wheel is hard as f*** and still doesnt counter steer like in assetto, so I think they should do something with the ffb for the cheaper wheels so they can feel and work better

I just wish beamng had a better tire model. The game would be much more enjoyable to play on wheel if I could always feel like the car was connected to the road with proper tires. They should have a dedicated update to completely reworking the tires and I feel like this game could be more realistic than Assetto.
@@pancake5830 yeah in terms of chassis flex and damage, but in terms of steering feel, power curves, and actual tire physics, BeamNG doesn’t come close to assetto.
Okay my wheel isn't direct drive. Its a hybrid drive (Gear and Belt Drive). Whenever I set the FFB strength low, the wheel moves too slow when going into a drift or trying to gain control. Too high would result in my wheel being too hard to turn. I have a Thrustmaster T128. Could anyone maybe give advice or any tips?????
