How'd you find it? I had to play the song over my tablet into my laptop speaker so some audio recognition software could identify it. Worth it, though.

@@PieBlaCon Probably Jimmy with brother Tommy on trombone. According to Brian Rust's Jazz Records, Goodman and Jack Teagarden are much more likely to show up in the Lanin band in 1930-31 than 29.
yeah, but I knew the song before. Sam Lanin has a lot of other great stuff. He recorded so many records in the 1920s and early 1930s. Don't limit yourself to just this one of his.
I love this music so much, although I'm 14. I don't like new music...
You're in good company!
ME, except I like some new stuff too
Just found a new favourite song to tape. Great uppload
Katie Cavera and friends in the Bay area have nicely revived this tune in the 21st century.
Great job by Sam and the boys! A real toe tapper.
Such a tight and clean arrangement. The sounds these "dime store" bands have are my absolute favorite.
I Have this Record! It Truly is FANTASTIC!
Coldplay - Magic brought me here. I adore this music.
Thank you Brittany! You might like Rudy Vallee he was a singer and sax man.

Sam Lanin is on my list of the 20 greatest band leaders of the 1920s - 1930s.

Wonderful clarinet. Is it Benny or a very inspired Jimmy? I'm not sure. But hearing the 'bone, I think it IS Jimmy.
I'm inclined to agree that it's Jimmy. Great tune, this one is, eh?

Good song, good Scrappy, if a bit high for his range.
