- I watched the funny plumber movies. Very sorry if I mispronounced Ice Age Bruno's name, I don't think I've ever heard it said out loud before so I was going off a Google pronunciation guide.

As a massive Mario fan who grew up with the series, this movie was just beautiful, it’s everything I ever could have wanted
Legit took my little brother to see the new Mario Movie and left loving it WAY more than I expected. Hope they make a sequel or maybe even expand into their other ip’s ESPECIALLY Donkey Kong cuz I love him in and out of this movie
I definitely see there being a potential Donkey Kong film! Maybe Cranky deciding to retire and DK having to face the responsibility of being king.
The initial scene where Mario and the gang first land on rainbow road with the beautiful rendition of the rainbow road song legitimately made me tear up not once but twice when I went to go see the movie a second time. Something about that scene was truly magical and reminded me why I love the Mario series so much. Great film, without a doubt my favorite video game movie adaptation.

Great video here, I might give the other Mario movies a chance with my friends when we get really wasted one night. And yeah, I agree pretty much with all your points about the new movie. I'm really happy it's THIS successful and likely ushering in a new era of adaptation accuracy for games. Also the Christopher Walken jump scare got a chuckle out of me for being painfully accurate.

based on this and the trailer for that duck movie thing Illumination is about to start putting actual effort into their movies.
I watched all 3 Super Mario Bros. Movies & surprisingly enough, Mario was in all of them! :O
1st place: 2023 Mario Movie.
2nd: Anime Mario Movie.
3rd: Bob Hoskins Mario Movie.

Other then the pacing my only issue with the movie is that Luigi got shafted for most of it. In the climax we see that he can matchup to his brother easily. Yet we didn’t see him do anything important before that

Even with the few personal qualms I had with the movie, the whole experience was incredibly fun all the way through! It does suffer from that short runtime, though. I wish it was a bit longer.

Thank you for showing footage of the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie when you referred to bad video game adaptation movies. I hate that film with every fibre of my being. The Paul Anderson Resident Evil movies are worse in my opinion, but that isn’t a game series I play so….
I liked that version. It was certainly better than the 90's movie.

My 3rd favorite movie of the year so far, It was just a really fun Mario Movie that just had me smiling like crazy through the entire run time, I will say that my biggest problem with the film is that the pacing is really fast (Kind of Ironic this movie is faster than both Sonic Movies lol), but overall I just had a lot of fun
Also I watch the The Director´s Cut of the 1993 film in a Discord Server and almost everyone lost their mind when we got to a certain cut scene of the movie

Even though Sonic Movie 2 is my favorite Video-game Movie so far, I still think the Mario Movie 2023 is a ton of fun. I'm a little upset that my boy Yoshi didn't get any screen time, but still have a ton of fun with the movie.
P.S. Anyone saying that Live Action Mario Movie is good, I don't think they played an actual Mario Game
I agree. The only way the Bob Hoskins version is good is if you pretend that it isn't a mario movie, but rather, that it's its own thing.
