Please leave a like for the hard work. More than 300 hours to make this video, and it takes you 1 second to drop a like. Thanks
I mean i liked the video, but how the fck do you upload 3 times a week when it takes you 300 hours to make a single one lol. I hope you meant maybe 30 hours
What's the first song in the video?
F*ck yeah, you deserve all praise,, there´s hardly any video compilations of him but you outdid yourself, excellent work mate, an honest thank you and I will share this as much as I can! 💙💙💙
hard working but with tittle like this for what? Making your work and your video by low down rating to other players? Or you really think bernardo silva, de bruyne, modric, oezil, iniesta, xavi... cant come closed to deco? If they arent as good
Give 1 dislike from me
This guy was forgotten too quick, true baller, legend. OGs know
I mean only thing is he fell off pretty quickly around the time Dinhi fell off and he was not so effective made many miatakes when not at his best. He was a baller but from the previous era so when football started changing to more effective and maybe "boring" he list his place as he declined.
In Porto he is in our top3 best players of all time. He played well in Barcelona, but in Porto years he was a classic number 10. Just watch his performance in Uefa Cup final 2003 against Celtic, that was his normal level in Porto, he had the tactical freedom to shine like never in his career. Magico Deco.
Og s know
Better than Modric, Xavi ?
that’s what gonna happen to busquets when he retire
One of the most elegant and technically gifted player of all time. Him and ronaldinho resurrected Barcelona when they were in a decline in the early 2000s. In the mid 2000s barca dominated galactico real Madrid and became the best. Deco is also one of the greatest Portuguese players of all time.
he's brazilian though... doesn't matter, dude was a legend
@@Luckymag-if4dw I know he is Brazilian, but he is one of greatest players ever to play for Portugal, what was their golden era 2004-08.
@@faraazkhan90 i know... just feels weird to see people calling him and Pepe portuguese, it ain't like they were born in Brazil to portuguese parents aand came to portugal as babies, both are literally brazilian only came to europe at like 18 and so, this is one of the few things I dislike about football, the way they don't stablish limits in those types of stuff. But crazier thing is that I believe Barcelona at one point had like Xavi, Deco, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Hnery and Messi
@@Luckymag-if4dw they both have portuguese nationality and played for portugal at an international level, so they're considered portuguese regardless of where they were born
@@comicbookguy2326 Yeah, the thing is the criterias for obtaining the nationality nowadays are completely wrong in my opinion and hurt the pure principle of representing your nation, not saying they can't live there and function as a member of the society but to represent the nation onw in my opinion should have some kind of bond to it or at least have been brough to that country as a child and having grown up there...I mean, not that it kills me or anything, it's just not my ideal way of thing working out and it has been done in hundreds of cases already, we got brazilians that have played in WCs for Tunisia, Germany, Spain, Japan, Italy that literally only did so coz they were living in those countries for like 4 or 5 years, in my opinion to represent the national team this should not be enough, obviously they must have all the rights of anyone living there and everything, but they ain't spanish or japanense to represent the national team, the thing is for those nations it is an advantage so they don't care but I'm talking from a moral standpoint for me ti's wrong in principle
One of the most underrated football player in history
Deco kept Iniesta on the bench while at Barca. Legend
Tbf Iniesta was only 21 or something but yeah Deco was World Class
Tbh Iniesta is overall better 😅
@@Vipul6190you ptobably to young to have seen Deco during Porto Time when they won the champions league. Dude was unstoppable. Sure Iniesta is a beast but Deco had better attacking features.
@@iamturok2294 Most people can only talk about football based on narratives. Iniesta being "better" is "logical". But people didn't actually watch Deco. Iniesta isn't necessarilly a better player. He just is associated with that Barça and that Spain. He is, one of the great midfielders, but so is Deco.
Should've won the Ballon D'or in 2004
Deco & Maniche were a pleasure to watch...guarded by the legendary Costinha
The 90s and early 2000 there were so many midfield maestros like Deco nowadays theres hardly anyone
The teacher of Xavi and Iniesta❤
You can also add Messi there
For me, personally, he was heart of Barcelona.
As a Benfica fan which had to cry many times because of him, I agree.
The best player I ever saw in the portuguese league. Magico.
Hello, in your opinion, is he better than Rui Costa? I saw him playing for Barcelona but not playing in Portugal.
@@edofonte76 they where very different, so can’t compared them since they both had different roles, but if i could i would fit both into my midfield
@@Shortss771 thanks for your comment. They were both outstanding players. Was Deco perhaps more offensive than Rui Costa? I mean, more involved in assisting or even scoring?
@@edofonte76 Rui Costa was an attacking midfielder while Deco was ur classic number 10, although they both scored similar amount of goals, Rui Costa would be the guy you wanted behind your striker while Deco would be that midfielder that would dictate the pace
@@edofonte76 Closest thing to a Deco in today’s age would probably be Modric
He was in a stacked era of proper footballers with genuine quality which is why he probably didn’t get the accolades he deserves. The quality of player is not the same any more they’re more athletes than footballers focused on stats and G/A.
Sad times for football indeed
so true, nowadays its all about pace n power
Honestly i never knew he was this good. I heard deco alot , but
didn't know he is even better than some of them today. Truly a GOAT
He is far better than the movies show... at that times there is two barca players when they was on their days they ar unplayable, him and etoo.
@@TheLam98Ronaldinho too
So underrated. He was an unknow in Brazil but in Portugal had gotten recognition.
Later he went back to Brazil and won a title there.
@@jeanjacqueslundi3502 yes I know it. He was formed from my team Corinthians and later ended his career in Fluminense.
This guy had the greatest oriented ball reception I've ever seen. Mágico Deco!
He didn't just play well in Barca, he was of their best and most important players in his first two years there but his peformances quickly dropped after that and many people forgit how good he was after Xavi and Iniesta started dominating their midfield. In his first two seasons there he was just as good as them in their prime, and could do things they couldn't.
@@siberianTiger639 I dont' say the opposite ;) He player very well at Barça but he was many times more an "8" than a classic "10" with other duties, in Porto he played another level, he was our main star for years...you can ask every Porto fan who is the best player in the last 30 years and the answer will be 100% of the time it's him. He was 2nd Balon d'OR in 2004...unfair, he was top5 in the world that years.
@@siberianTiger639 he was amazing in barcelona but in porto he was what ronaldinho was for barcelona in those times
can you tell me the names of those 2 other players?
@@lamyza7101 F. Gomes and Rabah Madjer. Deco is by many of our generation the best ever for what he did in Porto.
Pure class, and with a decisive impact in all his clubs: 2xChampions League, 1xUEFA cup, and won the league in each country he ever played in. True legend, if not underrated, at least overshadowed by some of his contemporaries.
And final euro 2004
Jesus Christ, I had forgotten how good he was. Awesome highlights, and I also enjoyed the music selection.
Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Xavi and Deco were a joy to watch, what a talented, crafty attacking side Barcelona had back in the day.
Xavi became the player he was because he combined what he saw from Deco and Pep, he's like an amalgamation of both
This is pure art. I'm so glad he played for Fluminense FC.
Great work! That was a marvelous reminder of what a pure baller he was during his career. Never had the physique and explosiveness to be a box-to-box guy but he made up for it with supreme technique, creativity and intelligence. Watching him on TV with Barca, Porto and the Portuguese national team always made me smile.
i was born in 1997, and all the time people asked me why I support Barca, i said i was in love how Deco played
His time was filled with so many midfield geniuses but the streets wont forget.
His intelligence and technique were superb...his IQ was super high
Deco was so underrated, one of my favorite players ever! Another great player that influenced Messi his style of playing.
Surely one of my best midfielders of all time
sure? ua-cam.com/video/rxuvhff-fh0/v-deo.html
“Magico” Deco was really a dragon in porto back in the day. Put fear on me everytime he would take free kick against my Sporting. Then he went to Barça, join Gaucho and instantly made me a fan.
Me too, he's the reason why I became a Barca fan.
One of my favorites, in a time when intelligence and technique was picked over physical abilities.
It still is.
@@sebfox2194no its not
@@stephencooke450 still is
@Stephen Cooke yes it is! The problem is that collective defending became better.... most of this video is shoking defending and huge holes in midfield and defense! Today tactics are 10x better! Just watch Cr7 dribbling in 2000s and then in 2010s... how harder it is to dribble now!
@@Nooraksi Messi dribbled past players
his best yeara wwre in Fc Porto, the video misses a lot of his best games at Porto.
He is a fc porto legend and always remebered as o Magico!
Been 20 years since his departure and no one replaced him, there are no more players like him and Dinho.
As a young Barca fan in the mid 2000s, young Iniesta and his attacking mindset and drive was my big inspiration. And I never really got the on the hype train about Deco back then. I remember his long passes and classy touches. But not so much in terms of creating. There were much brighter stars on the team. Now, as an old man, I know better. His positions, his decisions, his cunning, his technique. He was pure and utter class!
As football becomes more athletic, players of this ilk have become rare. Bernado Silva comes close, but there aren't many.
There's always room for players like Deco, Xavi, Iniesta, and Modric. They are only rare because there's not many players who are actually at that level.
Look at Felix. When he finally plays under someone that sees him for what he is you'll see a player of this ilk.
@@jeanlundi2141 lol ...🤣🤣🤣felix whould have to be born again 100 times to be deco s right feet.
Felix LOOOOL don't make me laugh..
BEEEEEEN searching for his videos. You're the Man Of The Match (in a World Cup final), bro!
The glimpses of the Deco-Eto'o-Ronaldinho trio in this video...DAMN!!! that deserves a video of it's own. Make it happen, my GOAT!
Thanks for the comment bro, it motivates me a lot
I presume Deco had the highest number of nutmegs in football. Last breeds of classical number 10s.
Amazing Midfielder 🐐💯
Foi um prazer ver esse cara jogar no meu time. 💚🤍❤
I can't believe how much he is underrated
Pure genius
Another great Brazilian Footballer... 🇧🇷🐐⚽
How many goals with brazil ?
Deco was a trully brazilian piece of art... it's crazy the ammount of amazing players that Brazil generated in those years!!
Um verdadeiro classico 10 que o brasil perdeu pra portugal ! Grande Deco !
Brillante Deco!! Ese barca jugaba muy bien!!
Great and underrated player
From quantity comes quality. Golden age of Brazilian football where all futsal courts and all football fields were crowded. There have never been as many stars as at that time. Deco became a naturalized Portuguese because he did not have a place in the Brazilian national team. Nowadays young people just want to smoke weed and post bullshit on social media.
True, though Scolari himself said one of his biggest mistakes as Brazil coach was not bringing Deco to play for the squad and let him escape to Portugal
Deco was artist 😍
Deco, Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Rakitic and now Pedri, barcelona have been so lucky to have so many technically gifted midfielders.
nah not rakitic don't put stain on this list. sub his name with michael laudrup.
@@AMIRULASYRAF-gm4vo rakitic was amazing u on sumn. I do agree laudrup should be lksted tho
Wonderful video, wonderful player! 🔴🔵
I almost argued but after watching till the end I changed my mind. This guy was underrated.
I loved him since i was little kid ❤ a talented player 😍
Deco and rui costa are best number 10 in portugals history. This guy is just so much class and elegance its unreal
So underrated in football
Jogou muito no meu Fluzão!!
Love the music choice! U remembered that we are here for the visual!
Thank for this video 🙏🏻
No problem mate, tomorrow I release another one 😁
Ronaldinho-Deco-Eto nuclear trio
Masterclass 😍
Deco 👏
The amount of preparation to make this video is incredible, you brought me back to my childhood, well done
Nice work. Espectacular video.
The way Deco controlled the midfield was something of class. The only midfielders who came close were Ronaldinho, Zidane, kaka & Edgar Davis
Davids? Scholes probably
He was misused at Barça, they played him as a number 8 and sometimes as a 6 whilst being a pure 10
Deco was the king of Nutmeg dribbles. Once he picks up the ball in the midfield, just know your defense have some work to do stopping a goal. He was so lethal with his inside boot passes.
Deco fue un crack de los medios más elegantes en la historia del fútbol español, el Ronaldinho y Eto, llevaron al barco a otra generación
Olha falo sem medo nenhum ta entre os maiores meias de todos os tempos.
Fantastic player😍
For sure he's a true legend
No lo sacáis en el video, pero Deco trabajaba muchísimo para el equipo. Presionaba agresivamente, era un mediocampista muy completo.
This guy is forgot by ppl, he very skillful and elegance, I like the style that he was playing
One of my my favorite footballers... very good passer of the ball . They don't make these kinda players anymore..😢
Modrid is still playing and he is way better.
@@javierduroreal1667 No. Deco is doing exactly what Modric is doing
I don't know if anyone else felt it..
But he feels like right footed Messi given his similar stature
Fantastic video! I feel bad that I underrated Deco at his time. I always put my attention on Ronaldinho in that Barcelona. What football would do for a player like that these days my god...
Underrated baller 😮🔥
Excellent player
Decò is a combination of Xavi and Iniesta. Pure class ❤.
Deco 💙❤
Unparalleled 😮
LEGEND!
Mágico 10 !!!
I hope this player becomes a coach, he have a crazy intelligence on the pitch.
whenever I see Deco I remember his assist to Gio that gave us 2004 la liga title. what a world class midfielder
One of the best midfielder in the history of the football
No fake step overs or funny dances, he did everything instinctively and was very precise, mastertery at knowing the pass and technical skill to grace the best stadium's in the world. This is what made football a beautiful game.
Magicooo ❤
Portugal 🇵🇹 ❤Bernardo Silva very close to deco

I see bits of Iniesta and Bernado Silva.. Brilliant
First t shirt I've ever had was his, in 2003, in 2004 i got Zidane's. But i endeed up a Barça Fan.
This guy is definitely one of the best I've seen yet. Just discovered him. He reminds me of Jay Jay Okocha.
Oko... Who? You crazy??
Geniues
Underrated
Better than nowadays midfielder
Never knew deco was this good🤔🤔
There are not that many videos of him but this guy was legit, he was second on ballon d'or in 2004, and he was the best champions league player of 2003/2004! When he went to Barcelona he had to take a more defensive role because of Ronaldinho but he was skillfull as hell, and his trademark move was the nutmeg, any chance he got he would do it. Played with Figo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o, Lampard, Drogba and many other great player!
@@UserNameOculto I mean, if you watched football around that time, you wouldn't even need videos to know that. But yeah, I guess to some people (and younger folk) more videos would be helpful.
If this video highlighted also his defensive skills and agressive pressure, there would be no doubts about how good he was compared to nowadays CM... But these videos only highlight dribblings, goals and assists.
Просто Magic,чистая эстетика футбола♥
Hard to see a midfielder like this these days
really? how about the golden ball 2018 that is still playing: Luka Modric.
I really didn’t know Deco was doing this type of shit on the pitch. Respect my g
