2022 PORSCHE PANAMERA Door panel removal

Good morning and welcome back to the channel. today we have here the 2022 porsche Panamera for window tint, we tinted the window with out the panel taken off. for video purposes I take off one panel to show how much work it is just to tint a window.

Hi, great video but the background music is very loud and I couldn’t hear you at all.
Have you ever removed the aluminum door sill from a 2022 Panamera? I want to replace mine.

So sorry the radio in the shop was so loud. About the door sill, I haven’t remove them yet but I’ve remove plenty of door sills on other cars they are just plastic clips.

From most of the YT videos I’ve seen, for Porsches it seems like removing the door sills requires you to remove the surround parts of the door sills also! Which is a big pain. 😭

Hey the speaker plate how did you remove it? You cut the video right there so I’m not 100% sure on how you did it. (I’m replacing my faulty speaker)

They’re just plastic clip, you can use your flat plastic pry bar tool and pry it from the top right corner.

Hello, I got a big scratch in the drivers side window tint on the inside of my 2022 Panny GTS and its horrible. I was told nothing can be done to prevent the scratches is that true?

Yes that’s true. I’ve done them many times, the reason of those scratches is from the factory weather strip. It’s straight rubber, no felt on it like most cars.

@@eaglethree1 no, the rubber is attached to the whole window chanel/track. If those rubber are separate, we can just simply replace them with one that has felt.
