After our first year as parents, I can tell you - nothing is the same, and it’s all for the better. I can honestly say, we are still not ready! I know many europeans that look more "asian" than them and viceversa. Just because they're born outside EU does'nt change the race..🙃 A black person born outside sub saharian Africa is not less black than another one born there,same for all races. Caucasian is Caucasian.

I am a teacher. I have seen the differences between children who are raised in a loving, supportive, stable home, and those who aren't. All that matters about this little one is that she has two supportive parents that clearly love her very much. That is all that matters. She is a very blessed baby, and you have a beautiful family 🙏🏽
Mom shamers are on a whole different level. I’m a mom of four and I say if you can get a night out, you better take it! Happy birthday to your beautiful girl! She’s not even my baby and this made me cry. Now you must understand why everyone says to enjoy it while it lasts. They grow so quickly 💖

Y’all need to understand that it’s not easy to be a mother. Its a lot of responsibility. Also shay hasn’t had time to herself in a while.. so let her have some fun and relaxation. And for those who say why is the kid light skin and stuff. Well shay is mixed and her bf is mixed as well, which makes their kid light skinned. Her parents have brown eyes which makes the kids eyes blue. Y’all didn’t learn about chromosomes and polygenic traits???? And also mind y’all business about how she raises her kid.

@@AB99ation lol didn’t you learn in biology class that if the parents eyes are both brown or even one of them has light eyes and the other has brown the kids eyes will either be blue or even green/hazel. That’s why I said that haha
@@AB99ation They both carry the blue eye recessive trait even though they have brown eyes because they’re both mixed.. that’s what she means
Melanie April Casuga hmmm it actually works the opposite way... all dark features (dark skin and dark eyes) are usually the dominant traits. So it is more possible for a kid to inherit the features of the parent with the darkest features (I am mixed race myself, my mum is Caucasian with green eyes and my dad is black, and both my brother and I have dark skin, dark eyes, and even curly hair like black people do...) Or just look at Shay and her brother...They both inherited their mum’s darker features, while their dad is Irish... So yeah, I believe it works in quite the opposite way of what you said... What has happened here, is that Atlas has inherited the recessive traits (lighter traits), that Shay carries from her dad... This is very uncommon to happen, but it still happens sometimes ☺️ I believe that for some reason, mixed kids carrying recessive traits (like Atlas), are the most gorgeous kids! 🙂
Kharlla Arcega not sure if that’s what she meant but you are right. Atlas has def. inherited the recessive traits that her mum/parents are carrying
Mama of 5 here. Sleep training is literally one of the most heartbreaking soul crushing thing to do with your child as a mother.

I honestly don't understand all the shay shamers. she went to a party which she clearly was invited to before she gave birth. She's a beautiful mother and she has the world's cutest baby. this video just highlights that you can be famous, have a good job, and still be an amazing mum. without or with a nanny. (personal preference on if they choose a nanny.) happy 1st baby atlas and sending all my love to your whole family from Australia.

Well besides my beautiful daughter Juliette who is 3 and a half and my three beautiful nieces I would say she is one of the most beautiful little girls I have ever seen but no little girl will ever be more beautiful than my baby girl she is the most gorgeous kid I ever!! Letting them cry themselves to sleep is sooo hard. She’s a little beauty.
Well maybe it is so hard, because you should not be doing this to baby? Baby will be rady to sleep on it's own when it's older. Leaving baby to cry out is giving them an information that no one cares for them and no one is there to comfort them. So with time they stop crying not because they used to sleep by themselves, but because they learn there is no one to come and make them feel safe when they cry. It's just hurting your baby.
It's been scientifically proven that letting them cry is not good for them!! Crying is the only way a baby has to communicate, so when they cry it's bc they need their mom and dad
@@paulajanczyk4412 if not the baby will grow up depending on the parents to go to sleep have u not seen any episode of super nanny? Every child needs to learn how to sleep on its own otherwise they are 3 years old or older and can’t sleep alone.

I have found motherhood to be the most rewarding; and at times, the most challenging experiences of my life especially when my children were infants, and later as teenagers. Fortunately, God already equips you with the basic tools you’ll need. The greatest of those tools is love. Congratulations!
