- So far I'm loving the tablet and what it can do in general. Definitely worth the money if you want something for your own carrier

Ive been waiting on someone to review this, thanks!
Thank you for this honest review! I liked it very much as you are one of the few UA-camrs who did really an honest review and testing! This is sadly not even possible from T-Mobile themselves 😢! Very honest and a very well prepared review - I am looking for using with my kids, websurfing or occasionally for business.
Had mine since the week it was released. I love it. 5G works extremely well and the 5mhz wifi does as well. I got mine for free (monthly credits) from T Mobile with a 20/mo tablet line.
I have a 10 dollar unlimited plan Metro offers and yea it works really really well. Can't complain
I have 6 Free Tmo Magenta Tablet Plans. Its basically the $20 plan but I don't pay anything for unlimited Data and 3G Hotspot.
@@ianwest1624When did that $10 Plan?
I appreciate the review. In my current circumstances my free life line phone doesn't cut it.
All my hardware has been stolen in the last 45 days. My phone a Moto One Ace 5G was among the casualties. The phone I use at the moment is 2GB+16GB.
I use my phone for Swagbucks, Freecash, Fetch, Shopkick, Fliff, No House Advantage, Prize picks, Parlay Play, Sleepers, Dabble and Underground Fantasy. In other words to generate income.
I mainly play games like Klondike for a payout not for entertainment. I did enjoy the game. I mostly play emulators (PS1/PS2/PSP) not Android games.
At 6GB that is better than 4GB tablets and the SoC isn't bad at all, except for the video drivers which seem hard to optimize for most games. This SoC is used in Retro Handhelds as well.
This tablet is up for consideration since its 5G as well, while competing tablets have 4G LTE but have 8GB+128GB and cost a little less.
Anyway for my use case this should be perfect. Thanks for the review.
I just ordered one through Metro by T-Mobile's website, paid around 104.99 for it with the plan included. Sounds like it's a banger of a tablet for the price you pay. Obviously the higher end tablets will crush it, but very impressive overall.
Another great Review
how is the brightest and resolution of the screen its always hard to tell on a video of a screen. I have a lenovo m9 tablet and its only downside is the screen quality
Decent specs for a free 5g tablet with activation of a new line on T-mobile.
The tablet works great for school. My virtual books load without any problems. Canvas/Blackboard works flawlessly!! I got it for school and it was worth every penny!!!
Can you connect this to a secondary portable monitor and run it in desktop mode if not can it produce a video output type c and can you test retro games. I have portable monitors that have touch function like the Nex Pad . I only buy Android devices that it's able to have video output type c for the devices that don't have just unload there is a way to force it
yes they put it for me , ready to go
If you get this table at a good price it's a good one but I agree full price you should look for the I pad 9th gen thanks for the video
Love mine. I sell a bunch of these tbh. And with the old promo, the Samsung a9
Can you use this to make phone calls as well? My dad had a stroke and can't see very well and needs something bigger than his phone now. Also can you just stick an existing Tmobile SIM card in it and use it like your phone?
Will the Revvl Tab 5G only read FAT32 format? It seems like whenever I try to use a drive that was formatted in NTFS format on my laptop Revvl tells me there is an issue with the drive and that I need to format it.
Awesomeness 👌 👏 👍
Did you say you used some video editing software on this tablet? And what are they again if you do? That's what I'd like to use it for a drone. Although I don't think it has GPS so it might not work.
I used Photoshop, canva, you cut
@@ianwest1624 Does it have GPS?
Hello..thank you for the review... can this be used as a hot spot?
Would it work with the Q-Link Wireless Network if it's. Unlocked ??
Yes. It should work with any GSM carrier after you have owned it 6 months on Metro or Tmobile, you have to have it unlocked before you cancel your plan!!
I’m looking for something just to watch Netflix instagram Facebook during down time I tow cars and been using an iPad but have it to my daughter and not trying to spend another $1300 on another one
i bought the caser for 12 and the tempered glass for 9 dollars fir two glasses. Amazon
Can you watch movies and videos on it? I just want a tablet to pass the time to
Watch movies and videos
Absolutely it’s a tablet with the play store but if you want my opinion get the Samsung tablet a9 instead it’s newer and runs very well. I have it
Would you play ps5 through this?
Do you think this is the best tablet metro has to offer? Or is the samsung better
I have the Samsung I'm thinking this one
@@stevelira4792how's call of duty mobile? It really kags on the metro Samsung tablet
What's case works for this? Anyone?
I got a quick cell case or any 10 to 12 inch generic fits all will work
Have you tried putting a Sim Card in it? If so how was your reception? So far I've found that the few tablets that can use a Sim Card tend to get a weak to nonexistent signal.
It has 5g uc like the phones and has been working very well for me. I even upload my UA-cam videos from that tablet and also use it for canva
@@ianwest1624 Much appreciated and very good to hear. I've been looking for a decent tablet that I can use away from home. One I have now is a little too inconsistent for my tastes.
@@ianwest1624What is Canva U Cut?
The t mobile employees told me it's better to use the E Sim which comes with this tablet. E Sim keeps peoppe from stealing your Sim, or stealing your tablet and trying to put their Sim in your tablet. E Sim provides better security
Why didn't you show a movie or show and only a game?
I'll do that moving forward for reviews. I normally go over things I think the audience wants. I'll add that to the list
Does it make phone calls though...?
It doesn't have a dialer but you can do Facebook, Google calls etc on it and text
Speakers?
You mean a speaker test? I'll do that tomorrow for you on my lunch. I'll screenshot this message so I won't forget
I want a tablet tht i can send and recieve text msssgs on. Can this tablet do that?
Yes text messaging is possible on this tablet
@@ianwest1624, by messaging, I mean a sim card that is able to send and receive sms. My current tablet cannot do tht. I have data, thats it. Service provider said the assigned number and sim have sms and calls restricted from use, so I would have to use a third party app to the tablet and my cell phone. That's not what I want. I want a tablet that is independent of my cell phone.
Some of these tablets you can answer the phone too
@@lovejones3557Prob not without a extra app installed.
Yes. Google messaging is included on this tablet.
Would it stream UA-cam videos no problem
What about gamepass
I'll do a video to show it off and link it to you
Is this tablet good for gaming?
No the Mediatek 700 processor and 6gb of ram is bit too slow for games.
@AviationNut I disagree.. these specs actually can beat out the Nintendo switch. 6 GB ram is high for a low end tablet. And majority of games on andriod and google play don't run like PC gaming. The 128 GB memory definelty allow big game to be downloaded and saved on this tablet.
I thought he was going to teach us about the tablet not show us how he plays games on.
The point is to show the processing power so you don't buy a dud. You can simply ask and I'll do a video based on what features you're looking for
My camera whont center
What type of display does the tablet have? OLED/AMOLED or LCD?
Nothing that good LCD
@@ianwest1624 Well that is a letdown for me as I prefer inky blacks from OLED/AMOLED. I cannot stand backlight on LCD displays.
@@graysonpeddie I don't think they'll ever be a tablet sold by prepaid carriers that has OLED screens
@@ianwest1624 I'm actually a postpaid customer of T-Mobile, but then I did receive an email from T-Mobile about the tablet that costs nothing for 24 months or $199 in full price, so it's not a big deal, but I don't mind spending more for an Android tablet that features an OLED display.
Thanks.
not even ipad have oled lol
I had mines for 8 months.and I only paid 150 for it
They released the another Samsung tab for metro. You should check it out
Don't see the phone app
Can I play fortnite on this tablet?
Let me try out out and I'll get back to you
@@ianwest1624bro where you at
One of the worst 10 inch tablet i ever owned & has tinny sound especially on music apps. 5G is slow here in my area & tablet is made by TCL in China which it will not last. Not good for advanced graphic games as its choppy. Mine came with a ESIM for service & you can add a another nano SIM but you need to have tablet unlocked to allow other services. I returned mine & got a Samsung tablet & much better.
Just ordered my revvell tab 5g for $79.99 on an added line on metro. Plus the $20 plan
revvl tab 💹🔥
It's a great tablet, my wife plays the sims and diablo immortal on it
