@@PerformanceReviews THANKS!
Would love to see a head-to-head of this and the LG Cordzero.
I ordered mine the other night, and will be delivered today. Super excited.
I have the Hx1 for my stairs and certain lighter rugs. One of the best buy gives enough pick up power on level 2 or 3 but the battery will last only 21 min or less. The only con I can think of is the filter cartridge clean up is a bit hard to take off
Love it!
Thanks for the first look. It doesn't have many reviews on Amazon yet, but a couple of them complain about the battery life.
The battery life supercedes the dust bin capacity.
I've owned a Miele canister vac for 20 years. It's been good to me but I hate the heaviness, the cord, and the hose. I thought about the Dyson but I hate the cheap plastic feeling and the candy colors. Other than Dyson, is the HX2 the best cordless upright vacuum? I appreciate the stealthiness of this vacuum and build quality. Thank you.
Thanks for this. I had to re-pack one of these to return it and just couldn't remember how it had fitted in the box.
Thanks for watching! What made you decide to return it?
I couldn't get the fine dust filter out, and when following their instructions on the phone, the top of the filter unit broke away. So the supplier agreed to replace the whole cleaner. My wife is fairly happy with it, although the small amount of dust capacity is a pain. We have other Miele appliances and they all had 10 year guarantees, so I do wonder why these expensive devices only have 2 year guarantees - it doesn't inspire confidence.
Helpful info as always! I wonder if the HX2 also has the hidden, non user serviceable internal filter that was inside the HX1 (same design as the other Miele bagless machines)?
It's talked about here ua-cam.com/video/W1DtYCmJOyI/v-deo.html
I do still like bagless vacuums but hopefully they can make a bagged version since numatic was able to put a bag in a cordless stick vac
Do Sebo attachments fit Miele. In pictures their click buttons look similar.
No Miele uses a 34mm fitting and SEBO uses a 36mm fitting.
Can you please do a comparison video on this one and the LG Cordzero? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Buy this one . Miele is a step above for sure.
It does look smooth, probably out of my price range
I remember you remarking in your top 5 cordless video that Miele accessories that otherwise fit the HX1 are unusable due to lower suction. Does the HX2 remedy this issue in your opinion?
Good question I will have to try. HX 2 is a big improvement overall. I hope they eventually come out with a bagged version.
@@PerformanceReviews Speaking of vacuums of the bagged variety, do you have a video on the Henry Quick stick vacuum in the cards?
Also, thanks for all the effort you put into this community.
This is literally one of my dream vacuums.
What do u recommend Meile Hx2 Cat and dog or samsung jet 70 ?
The Miele the form factor is so much better.
I see Lotus is quite cheaper than Cat & Dog, should I save some money or go with Cat & Dog model? Any specific reason why I should go with one over the other? Thanks.
The cat and dog was the only one available for a while in the United States. If you don't need the handheld brush tool definitely consider going with one of the other models that's now available.
Had to laugh a little at your pronunciation of immer besser. I mean that in joking of course. Great video as usual! Really wish they would make this in a bagged version.
Considering this vacuum because it seeme to be much more powerful than HX1
The numatic/henry quick is the only stick vac I am considering. Bagless anything is out of the question for me.
What's the warranty on this?
Depends where you buy it.
Omg I’ve never heard anyone say Immer Besser like that before. It’s IMmer like in but im instead. Anyone looking for a Miele cordless id say get HX2 don’t bother with HX1. The filter twister at the top is sharp on the HX1. The performance of the brush is so much better on HX2 and the suction motor is improved too. Miele could have done a better job to make these easier to make into handheld format though, it’s very stiff to do and don’t recommend for old or people who have dexterity problems.
Hello! Thank you for your reviews. I’m a Dyson owner sick of repairing my V11 (both floor heads broke, trigger broke twice). My wife and I love the ease, power, and motorized upholstery brush but I want something more durable. Expecting this vacuum to last 20 years is probably unreasonable but is this a more repairable option? Thanks again for your informative and entertaining reviews. I wanted to buy a Lindhaus but my wife thinks it’s not as sexy as the HX2 😢
I have the HX1 - it is 3 speeds not 4 as you stated in the video
It depends on the version that you got. The home Care version has four speeds as shown in a previous video.
@@PerformanceReviews I guess the USA got different versions than in Canada because I just checked Miele's site and all HX1 models are 3 speeds. I have the cat & dog version.
Im only considering this because the lindhaus cordless is SO expensive. Cripplingly expensive. Miele is the only other brand making a cordless that I trust. That said, im still not into bagless, and most likely will not buy one and just keep saving for the lindhaus.
They fixed one of the major issues with the HX1, which was how much the dirt compartment could hold:
Dyson V15 = 0.45 liters
Miele HX1 = 0.25 liters
Miele HX2 = 0.50 liters
No it's still Bagless and has a small capacity. In fact all of the Bagless stick vacuums have a very limited capacity. But that's to be expected there for quick pickups.
Right. The comparison numbers I gave were for other cordless stick vacuums. I was not claiming that its dirt compartment can rival a Miele canister vacuum or some other apples to organges comparison like that.
I see it uses the same flimsy roller head as the HX1
