Basic video taking apart a Miele Trifle H1 Cat & Dog floor head, The Pro version is the same apart from the neck colour, The Power, Red and White versions don't normally have the light on though but the rest is virtually the same.
I do not make any money from adding these videos, i just take the time to make them as i take apart various makes and models of hoovers so have decided to start doing these videos to hopefully help some people who may be thinking of taking it apart and wanting to see what is involved first, to those who are a little stuck.
I know its not the best quality, but hopefully it can save repairable items being thrown away and repairs usually are much more cheaper and its much more satisfying repairing items than just binning them.

Same failure here. And this is the second time. Meile replaced the first brush head a few months ago. Now another failure. There is a repair discussed on reddit, will be trying that.

Thank you for this video. Invaluable for me to find out why the roller wasn’t spinning. Saw some hair in the light grey drive spigot, but couldn’t get it all out. Then found I could remove a single screw that held it in place. Wow! found a round circle wrap inside about 2mm thick. Hopefully this will stop the safety cut out (thankful for that design feature) and will now work again. 😊

Hi, I’m glad it helped, when it comes to the camera work I am just a novice and it is difficult with just one camera to remember what the lens sees to what I’m doing lol.

We've had 2 of these vacs and BOTH HAVE FAILED. The square drive that rotates the brush roller always strips and this is very bad design fault. If using plastic (as Miele do) it should be much larger to withstand the friction of the brush on carpets. Or, if they still want to use such a small drive dog to spin the brush, it must be made of metal, perhaps aluminum.
