York's Other Castle (Baile Hill)

- Watch as we go outside in the city of York to look at Baile Hill. This unassuming mound is all that remains of the city's second castle, an unusual structure dating to the very earliest years of the Norman period.
Special thanks to The Friends of York Walls for helping maintain the city's history, as well as the Jorvik Viking Centre and Bork the Viking for making a cameo.

I found this one fun! Took me a while to plant myself properly into the narrative, but interesting stuff!
Thanks so much!
Great story well told. Loved the video too, thank you. Also, I'm a rare fan Archbishop Melton as he has appeared in my tales too 😁
I'm happy with the idea of more York videos/history. Thumbs up from me☺️
Thanks so much! He is quite an interesting character, so he may make another appearance... Glad to know there's interest in more York videos for the future!
