National Coming Out Day | LGBTQ+ | Wrabel - The Village (Cover)

Hey,
This video is in honour of coming out day tomorrow (11th of October). It’s a tribute to any transgender people who the world has lost because they’ve been rejected by family and friends or bullied for their identity.
Every day millions of people come out as LGBTQ+ all over the world and a lot of people get really great reactions, but there are lots of people who are told they are disgusting, weird, wrong etc. These horrible words can have a huge impact on the person they are aimed at. As a result a lot of LGBTQ+ children and teenagers commit suicide.
I strongly believe that the people who are actually disgusting are the ones leading them to that dark place they end up in that makes them feel that there is no hope.
So if you are reading this and you’re LGBTQ+ I want you to know that no matter what anyone says to you, be yourself. You are loved and valid. You’re not wrong. You are amazing and you deserve to be treated with respect.
Please if you are thinking about hurting yourself get help. Reach out to someone because I can guarantee someone somewhere will listen. That person might be in another country or they might be right beside you but don’t suffer alone.
If you are not LGBTQ+ but you know someone who is please treat them the way you would treat everyone else because they’re no different from you. They are a person just like you are a person and they deserve love. Do not put them down. Do not tell them that they are invalid. Treat them with respect. Use their preferred name and pronouns. DO NOT OUT THEM WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION.
