I have the PocketMD clipboard (in burgundy) same as Nurse Nacole's. It's an absolute must have. It conveniently folds into your scrub pocket-freeing hands. Great vid by the way...*Subscribed
Hey!! I'm glad you like it.. And as for the hair I straightened it for my schools photoshoot.. It's been forever since I straightened ( usually takes 2 hours to straighten.) I am going to look on Nacole's blog to find a link. I am considering on purchasing it. Pretty neat idea.
I bet it does take that long! You have a lot go hair. At least you have a looser curl pattern, it takes me 2 hours with my nappy hair! lol I think I will get that clipboard.
Un scented. I think our school has a Policy that you can't weAr anything. I do still like my bath and body sanitizer. Patients could be highly allergic to scents so try and get things unscented. Also some hospitals have the same policy so that's something to check. As for the bag, our facility didn't have enough space for us to leave stuff around or tuck in the employee lounge, and since we are just visiting for a certain time they told us to carry light things. I did however wear a fanny pack during CNA clinicals. That was helpful.
Hi! unscented would be best.. If you get a lightly scented lotion people may not notice.. but some facilities will and will ask you not to bring them ( they may have a fragrance free facility.. some places actually supply lotion at the nurses station.)
Have any of you used the watches that are pinned to your scrub top? I want one but not sure what it looks like put on...I think they are called fob watch?
Theyre called a lapel watch... personally ive never used one but i would prefer a wrist watch. Lapels are like a pin except with a clock hanging on it. A fob watch is one of those more vintage types that have a chain and go in your pocket. I think a wrist watch is better because if you want to quickly look at the time you just check your wrist but with a lapel watch youd have to take it off and then look at it.... or i guess you could try and look down and pull your shirt out to see it upside down if you know what i mean. Its up to you.
You can search it on ebay and Amazon for your country. Im based in Singapore so finding this watch is not a problem. You can pin it to your scrub that way you can't loose it and search thruogh your pocket. Hope I helped you. ^_^
HI marigoofy14 Thanks for watching my channel! :-) I actually ordered it on all heart.com ... Check them out.. they usually have sales.. It's a Littman Classic SE II
Hello! I ordered my pink supplies from Amazon.com. I have purchased different pen lights from local medical supply stores; from my school bookstore, and also medical supply stores online and Amazon. I always have about two in my book bag just need to grab the second one. The short pen lights are about four dollars each, which is pretty inexpensive. Bandage scissors is from Amazon. Hope this helps! 😃
