The production values on these Highlights are outstanding. Managed to turn something routine as Qualifying into must see events.
WEC is giving F1 a run for it's money. I'm a huge F1 fan, but WEC has been unpredictable this year 🔥
Series with a system that actively balances cars to be (near) equal is more unpredictable than series that doesn't have it. How interesting.

F1 may have the latest and greatest tech, but the real racing has always been in the WEC and IMSA. The edit for this qualy phenomenal.

What an amazing hyper pole. So good to see cadillac on top and bmw and alpine now really stepping up their game. Lamborghini also made it to the hyperpole for the first time so, fantastic for them as well.
Can't wait to see the new manufacturers giving Porsche ferrari and Toyota a run for their money

@@Colevid19 Yes, but Toyota has had a lot of problems in recent races and never really reached the racing pace they need. Now, just before the end, they are really coming back. We can only hope that things will go better in 2025.
@@Wolf-Nero ???? They ran away from the field in Brazil and had the race won at COTA except for the yellow flag penalty. That IS race pace.

Out of all GT3 cars in WEC, BMW M4 is the least visually-appealing of them all for me. BMW Z4 GT3 was the last good one, they went with too big ones ever since.

Last I know got a new Astra as a company car and the first day she got it, I complemented on her new car and asked her if she liked it. She said mmm it’s making a few rattles and feels like and old banger. Turns out, engine bolts missing. This was 2023.

My theory is that Cadillac warms up tires quickly, but then it's hard for them to maintain pace on used-up rubber. It will be cool to see more challenge to Toyota, who remains a favourite for the race.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but why does Manthey Pure races under the Lithuanian flag and Manthey EMA under the German one? I would imagine both would run under the same
Because Manthey racing operates both cars but the Lithuanian one is entered by Pure Rxcing which is a Lithuanian team.

I don't think introducing GT4s would be a good idea. The speed gap between them and the hypercars would be too great. Essentially, GT4s would be safety hazards on the track.
