Madhyalay composition in Teental ‘ Piharwa Tehari’ followed by a Tarana in Ektaal ‘Tanom Dir Dir’
Concert on the occasion of Pt. Vinayakrao Patwardhan’s 90th birth anniversary in Pune on 21st November 1987.

Highlights of this track:
Yaman was Panditji's favourite. Once he said, "It limits me when I fathom Yaman. It is an ocean. I would rather swim and attain bliss."
His mellifluous voice range in mandra, madhya and tara saptaks (three octaves) in all speeds:
1. Artistic treatment to Pancham throughout the performance.
2. Upaj between teevra Madhyam, Dhaivat and Nishad.
3. Delicate of usage of Shuddha Madhyam
4. Upaj on the word 'Piharva', with elongation of vowel 'a' joinders with 'aakar'.
5. Ease in phrasing the mukhda in aesthetically appealing ways.
6. Beautiful carrying of the phrases and elongation of the vowels, in tandem with the laya.
7. Brilliant tihais on the mukhda in asthai.
8. Development of antara, 'mohe man ki', rendering it as if its a conversation.
9. Fast paced sapat taans just before the Sama.
10. Ferociously paced rendered Tarana with ease and accents on the main syllables without sounding in a hurry.
11. Brilliant diction of the second antara starting with Persian words, weaved together with second part of tabla bols so effectively.
