Obvs, I am joking and I'm actually glad I wasn't the one who had to point that out. But I must say those little salt Cellars are way better used as a single-use ashtray or a ciggy- rest so you don't have to hold the cigarette with the corner of your mouth while your hands are busy trying to hang a piece of art on the wall, as smoke Rises directly into your nostrils and eyeballs and your eyes start watering so you start to squint and inevitably hang that piece of art slightly crooked. Also, i think it'd be funny if Paige and Kate were just holding up different Antiques and we're calllng them all 'little ashtrays'
I thought the same thing when I saw those, but anything with a little notch (if they had one) will make someone think ashtray. I see the opposite when vintage sellers have what is clearly a stone ashtray and call it a trinket dish. But those glass/crystal definitely looked like lil salt cellars
You guys got a great haul! Really wonderful pieces and taste. The Fish decorated bowl is a Wow! The vases and vessels are all nice and I especially love the blue ones and the green bowl. The art is really fun and that toaster soft focus image is so good. The architectural plans are neat and the little gem etching with blue is sweet. The wooden carved frames and tramp art frame are super nice. This is something I always have my eye out for because I do paintings and drawings and have a good feel for what works within them. I could see that two opening tramp art frame with silverpoint drawings in them. I have worked in the art of silverpoint. It's an old master's technique of drawing with silver on a clay coated paper. I did restoration work on Renoir drawings for an art museum many years ago. I restored some horse drawings of Renoir. The task lamps are sweet finds, and I especially like the orb one. It reminds me of Robert Sonneham and his orb lamps. The furniture of the small console table and those chairs to reupholster are neat projects that will come out amazing. The table obviously just clean a bit. I have to look for that Twentieth Century Furniture Book. I'm a design book geek or even old children's books that have quirky art or limited palette usage You really could use so much of this together in a singular room and it would be sensational and a fun challenge video. Nothing annoys me more is people with huge money when they go out and buy new stuff at a chain store for their home when there's a stockpile of amazing vintage pieces at flea markets and even thrift shops. Money does not buy taste and we see that in many interiors' videos. I just found at a thrift shop two mahogany art deco end tables with blue cobalt mirror rounded tops for $25.00 each. I have to refinish them because somebody painted them terribly but that is in my wheelhouse of skills. I love feeling the form, lines and understanding the construction with a having a deep affection for its past and then that transformation and return to beauty again. It's incredibly rewarding to work with your hands. I like how your search really shifted around with an eclectic eye and covered so many bases. It is a thrill to go treasure hunting. I have to go to Brimfield, my nephew has a home in Boston and he keeps wanting me to fly in his airplane there. He has one of those Cirrus planes that he fly's all over the place. I'm too afraid to fly like that. I'll just drive. I apologize for my long ass comments. I just have a passion for this stuff.
If you are from New England, and older, this is like a walk down memory lane. That cat book was my favorite item growing up.🙂. The wooden tray (Danish) is Shaker.
Ok, you nalied it. It's clear to me that you sourced all of the best stuff from brimfield. I wish I could have seen that pop up in LA. You must have done really well. Great job all around ladies. ❤❤❤
Awesome finds girls!!! ♥️ Next time could you please let us know what the prices were of each item?? Thanks so much for the excellent design ideas you showed us again Kate and Paige! Paige your crush was a cutie!!
The thing referred to as “this tray, Danish” is not a tray but a lid for a shaker box. Could it be used as a tray? I mean, I don’t see why not. But if we’re being technical.
Beautiful finds! Esp bowls and vases. I would be interested to know how you choose the books. Color? Subject matter? Are they intended to go with certain objects styled on a table? I used to be in the book business and if you paid more than a quarter for most of them you were robbed.
The little glass vessels you said were ash trays are salt cellers.
Factually, you are correct. But you are now negative 2 cool points for sure.

The house where my dad and aunt were born is in The Painted Ladies magazine/book you bought. 😃
Saw these in person and they were lovely! So many people showed up too 🎉

I think it's IKEA Expedit? And I think it did come in green at one point?
I have the same Martha Wash table in a darker stain. It’s the best! Loved these videos of sourcing. Keep it up!
Yes, that video was one of a kind! So are you!❤❤❤
This is the equivalent of a little kid showing you all the cool toys in their bedroom. I’m here for it 😂🙌🏼
7:05 that's a cutting board for meat from Dansk (I think). The iron candle holder is very old!

I love everything you got. I would have probably brought home as much of a haul as you did. I want all but need none. No room. 😂
Would love to know about the box cutter drama.
Great finds! How did the pop up do?
You two are fun.
Where did you get the amazing green framed art in the garage from? Looks amazing

10:34 is that a FLCL/the pillows reference???
Beautiful finds! Esp bowls and vases. I would be interested to know how you choose the books. Color? Subject matter? Are they intended to go with certain objects styled on a table? I used to be in the book business and if you paid more than a quarter for most of them you were robbed.

This makes me feel like I need to go to Brimfield
The red lamp was Paige’s gift!!!
i want to know why we hate boxcutter
Right, it’s cute! I don’t think it’s the box cutter itself, I’m guessing they didn’t want to promote the website/company they got it from? 🤷🏼♀️
Does anyone know what style COACH bag that is? Thank you much.
Not an expert but brief searching looks like the 9338 😊
Thank you!
