KATHERINE’S VIDEO INTRO - Brussels

Hello families!
My name is Katherine, but you can call me Kath. I’m originally from Cuba, and I now live in Brussels, Belgium.
I bring over 8 years of experience in childcare, having worked with children from infancy up to 8 years old.
In addition to my childcare experience, I’m also passionate about music. I have taught music classes to children as young as 5, as well as to teenagers and seniors. I've also volunteered in children’s hospitals, where I provided music, comfort, and encouragement to children, including those in critical conditions.
Currently, I’m pursuing a master’s degree in music. Working with children has always been close to my heart, and my goal is to combine my love of music with childcare in a way that nurtures their creativity, joy, and sense of wonder.
I am friendly, patient, and responsible, and I strive to make children feel safe, valued, and happy. I enjoy engaging them in artistic activities, from arts and crafts to fun outdoor games-all designed to encourage their development and creativity in a safe and enjoyable way. I also love teaching them to appreciate music and art, and I’m always finding creative ways to keep them inspired and entertained.
In addition to play, I am comfortable with cooking nutritious meals for children and am always ready to handle any unexpected situations with care and calm.
I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and I would be thrilled to connect with your family to provide a loving, fun, and enriching environment for your children.
