Having Jenna see her dad’s boat brought me chills. We purchased the same model/year Searay that my wife grew up tubing and skiing behind..although it is not the exact HIN number, but after she lost her dad during Covid and knowing that he would of loved to come out with us and our 4 boys, that’s where she says she always feels him the most. You guys are an inspiration for us, and if you come to Montana, we would love to take you guys out and ski.

The cabinets and flooring look great. If anything we both can relate with dealing with crooked things you guys with the project house and me with 100+ old cabin. I applaud your patience with dealing with that. To this day l still don’t know how l deal with so many things out of square but the charm of the cabin cannot be lost. I don’t regret with a lot of hair pulling and swearing at times like l have to be nuts and at times just said tear it down now l am happy l did not 65 % done with big setbacks with the storms and pole barn for storage gone but can’t stop Mother Nature when she’s mad. You guys always share fantastic projects with a lot of great fun. Don’t change what you do. See you on the next one.

I was a cashier and I somehow randomly got into a conversation with a customer who turned out to be "the guy in the tie-dyed T-shirt" that bought my dad's car when I was a kid (while I was peeking out behind a tree, giving him the evil eye 😅)... That car was supposed to be mine when I turned 16, but my dad ended up selling it (and I still haven't forgiven him 😅). It was a 1977 TransAm Firebird T-top. Anywho, the customer told me he had since sold it, that it was still local, where I could find it, and that the new owner wouldn't mind if I went there. So that's exactly what I did as soon as my shift ended! I went to the new owners house and told him the entire story while trying keep the tears in my eyes from turning me into a blubbering mess. 😅 He showed me everything that's been done to it, and even offered to let me take it for a spin, but I declined (I didn't think I'd be able to give it back! 😂). I have no idea where the car is now, but seeing you with your dad's boat brought back these amazing memories for me, too!! Thank you for sharing! 🥰 Hugs 💞

It’s so crazy how something so ordinary can spark these emotions and memories from our past! I am not typically a sentimental person, but there was something about seeing that boat. It was my dad’s, and he passed away; then my brother had it for years and then he moved to Florida with his family so I genuinely thought I’d never see it again. A 77 T-top tho…. I also have some friends down in Florida that I'd love to visit... but that would probably be a winter trip lol. Well, I was actually brought home from the hospital (after birth lol) in that car. I loved it because of the sentimental memories; that was before I knew anything about vehicles. I believe I was around 9 years old when he sold it. Come to think of it, that car might've actually been the catalyst for my love for vehicles. There's more to the story but that's the basics. It's amazing when things from our past, that we never anticipated seeing again, reappear and renew our memories 💖 It's awesome that you got to experience that, too 🥰

Hi Jenna and Ted 🌲 I'm so excited to drop in and see what you are doing today. I"ve been anticipating it and this was a great video, but then they always are. The dogs certainly enjoy going along in the boat on your adventures. The uppers certainly made a big difference in the kitchen both visually and functionally. Together with that and the surprise flooring, I'm certain your mom will be very happy and appreciative. Ted, you and Jenna have done a very nice job, kudos to you both! I really enjoyed the scenes out on the lake traveling to the "road side", to your special place "blueberry island" and back to the boat ramp. It seems regardless of where you are the scenery is very beautiful and I can easily see myself spending time there soaking it all in and to appreciate the beauty of God's creation. It was fun to watch the dogs leap out of the boat as you approached the beach on Blueberry Island, it was obvious they new it well and were glad to be there. Jenna, it was fortuitous to again see the old boat from your past and it was a very touching scene. I imagine you were able to visit with the people a little and relive some memories that were so special. I am so glad you had that moment Jenna. I really like the outtakes - obvously because they are humorous but more so they provide me a different glimpse of you both and and I feel I know you a llittle better. Hi there, Larry! As always, thank you for watching and leaving such nice comments! We train our dogs as puppies to be great boat dogs. It's a non-negotiable for us! haha. So far, we've had all very good boat pups! Unfortunately, Ted has to work the weekend when his mom will finally see it in person. It really is gorgeous up there, whether you're walking trails in the woods, out on the big water, or visiting tourist attractions, three always stunning scenery everywhere you look. Yes, after my brother sold that boat, I really never thought id see it again so it was a flood of memories that came rushing back and it was just a lot to take in! The guy who owns it now seems to be really enjoying it and I'm glad for that. Maybe I'll even see it again some day! Thanks again for dropping in! Oh'fer smart Dat Teddy, he is dern toonin smart!! As my grandma always said, goodting yous have him around deary. Oh fer Petes sake, as my grandma also used to say, Teddy, if your head was not screwed on, you would lose it (those Polish Grandmas always had the most unusual sayings) Now that mom hug was done by a mom who is so very proud of her son. Brought tears to my eyes. There is nothing more beautiful than a mom hug. God Bless all moms.🥰🥰🥰 One of the many things that I adore about this family is the many millions of memories that flood back into my mind. Many trips to Woman Lake, Kaptogama, Long Lake, Ely, the BWCA, the Gunflint trail, Highway 61 from La Crosse to Granda Maria, and Pigeon Falls. Water SDkiing on the Mississippi (we do not have a cabin up nort, ours is southeast of MPLS on Lake Pepin (the birthplace of waterskiing -- shoot out to Ralph Samuelson) Jenna, I know exactly how you felt when dad's boat was launched. Good tears from great memories. Romans 8:16 ... “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.” Our divine identity as God's children is affirmed through the Spirit. Psalm 127:3 - Children are a Heritage from the Lord. “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.”. Proverbs 22:6. Train up a child in the way he should go; Even when he is old he will not depart from it. God Bless and thank you for the memories and the tears of joy from those memories.

Yes! Make it look good vs perfectly level. You have to work with what you got sometimes! The flooring is a lvp floating type style floor. The pieces all interlock together. Just a "Pine Nut" here. That cabin is looking awesome just like all your projects. You two amaze me on every video with your energy and creations. What a great team you make. Just a tip for you Ted; they make a flooring tile brake that would save you time and razor blades. It's only around $130.00 but it certainly pays for itself in time saved and cut fingers. If you think you're gonna do more flooring in the future, it would be worth considering. Aside from that, I'm sure your mom loves what you've done to the cabin. The floor is a nice surprise for her. Gotta love working with out of level construction. But you all handled it like champs. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. I can't wait to get back up there. Hi Thomas! Three dogs tends to be too much at times 😂. I never thought I would see that boat again! It was such an emotional experience! So many memories flooding back….. As for the flooring…. Teddy miscalculated how much we needed, so there is no flooring under the fridge or stove (for now) We can add that in at a later date because of the style of flooring! It’s so nice to work with. Fantastic job on the kitchen, looks realy good well done. Just one concern I have, is the air gap around the Fridge freezer, there should be at least a 1" gap all round, other wise it could over heat, please check you have sufficient air flow around it for safety.. Del UK...

You would not be disappointed with VNP! They have some really nice trails, but it’s best to check it out via water! They have a nice shuttle boat that will take you all the way up to Kettle Falls! I am not typically a sentimental person, but there was something about seeing that boat. It was my dad’s, and he passed away; then my brother had it for years and then he moved to Florida with his family so I genuinely thought I’d never see it again.

Well, I was actually brought home from the hospital (after birth lol) in that car. I loved it because of the sentimental memories; that was before I knew anything about vehicles. I believe I was around 9 years old when he sold it. Come to think of it, that car might've actually been the catalyst for my love for vehicles. There's more to the story but that's the basics. It's amazing when things from our past, that we never anticipated seeing again, reappear and renew our memories 💖 It's awesome that you got to experience that, too 🥰

Hi Jenna and Ted 🌲 I'm so excited to drop in and see what you are doing today. I"ve been anticipating it and this was a great video, but then they always are. The dogs certainly enjoy going along in the boat on your adventures. The uppers certainly made a big difference in the kitchen both visually and functionally. Together with that and the surprise flooring, I'm certain your mom will be very happy and appreciative. Ted, you and Jenna have done a very nice job, kudos to you both! I really enjoyed the scenes out on the lake traveling to the "road side", to your special place "blueberry island" and back to the boat ramp. It seems regardless of where you are the scenery is very beautiful and I can easily see myself spending time there soaking it all in and to appreciate the beauty of God's creation. It was fun to watch the dogs leap out of the boat as you approached the beach on Blueberry Island, it was obvious they new it well and were glad to be there. Jenna, it was fortuitous to again see the old boat from your past and it was a very touching scene. I imagine you were able to visit with the people a little and relive some memories that were so special. I am so glad you had that moment Jenna. I really like the outtakes - obvously because they are humorous but more so they provide me a different glimpse of you both and and I feel I know you a llittle better. Yes, after my brother sold that boat, I really never thought id see it again so it was a flood of memories that came rushing back and it was just a lot to take in! One of the many things that I adore about this family is the many millions of memories that flood back into my mind. Many trips to Woman Lake, Kaptogama, Long Lake, Ely, the BWCA, the Gunflint trail, Highway 61 from La Crosse to Granda Maria, and Pigeon Falls. Water SDkiing on the Mississippi (we do not have a cabin up nort, ours is southeast of MPLS on Lake Pepin (the birthplace of waterskiing -- shoot out to Ralph Samuelson) Jenna, I know exactly how you felt when dad's boat was launched. Good tears from great memories.

Yes! Make it look good vs perfectly level. You have to work with what you got sometimes! The flooring is a lvp floating type style floor. The pieces all interlock together. It’s a very good product for quick projects like this one!

Just a "Pine Nut" here. That cabin is looking awesome just like all your projects. You two amaze me on every video with your energy and creations. What a great team you make. Just a tip for you Ted; they make a flooring tile brake that would save you time and razor blades. It's only around $130.00 but it certainly pays for itself in time saved and cut fingers. If you think you're gonna do more flooring in the future, it would be worth considering. Aside from that, I'm sure your mom loves what you've done to the cabin. The floor is a nice surprise for her. Gotta love working with out of level construction. But you all handled it like champs. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. I can't wait to get back up there. Hi Thomas! Three dogs tends to be too much at times 😂. I never thought I would see that boat again! It was such an emotional experience! So many memories flooding back…..
As for the flooring…. Teddy miscalculated how much we needed, so there is no flooring under the fridge or stove (for now) We can add that in at a later date because of the style of flooring! It’s so nice to work with.

Fantastic job on the kitchen, looks realy good well done. Just one concern I have, is the air gap around the Fridge freezer, there should be at least a 1" gap all round, other wise it could over heat, please check you have sufficient air flow around it for safety.. Del UK...

Another awesome video. That kitchen looks wonderful! I hope to check Voyageur's National Park off my list in the next year or two. I will be visiting Joshua Tree NP for the first time and Death Valley and Zion National Parks for the second time next March for my birthday.
You would not be disappointed with VNP! They have some really nice trails, but it’s best to check it out via water! They have a nice shuttle boat that will take you all the way up to Kettle Falls! It’s a beautiful trip! ❤️ All of those other parks are going to be wonderful! So jealous!

Oh my goodness Christine! You NEED to go visit! They do have some nice hiking trails, but experiencing it from the water is the best! They do have a shuttle boat that takes people on a tour all the way up to Kettle Falls! (You actually look south into Canada at the falls site!) 😆
