I really hope that we get to see you react to them much more frequently. Since you're seeing them in Oct you should check out as many songs as you can by then. I really hope that I get to see you react to my favorite song "Jibun Rock" live at Nagisaen. Tomoya just goes crazy, and the crowd is just epic. It's also worth watching the 2012 Yokohama arena version is worth checking out because Taka forgets the lyrics. I'm going to their Toronto show and it's going to be incredible. What's really special and unique about this tour is that it isn't an album tour. They always look like they're having so much more fun and are more energetic at those special concerts. Watch the Mighty Long Fall tour and the Special Live at Nagisaen to see what I mean. The setlists are also awesome. Since it isn't an album tour they get to pick a lot of songs they really enjoy performing, as well as fan favorites that they normally don't play. They'll probably play one or two new songs as well. I really think that Taka will be performing on a level we have yet to see.

@@GOTGames this will be my third time seeing them. Each show was a different venue, an outdoor concert, a small intimate venue that only held a few hundred, and now an arena. I have a feeling they're going to be better than we've ever seen. I will say that you should really react to as many songs as you can before the concert so you can enjoy the concert even better. It would be best to focus on their stuff before the 35xxxv album. Taka mentioned that their upcoming albums are going to sound like the old OOR. I really can't wait to see what you think of their older stuff. They have so much content that if you reacted to their entire library by October you'd still have over a decades worth of live shows to watch. I've been a fan for a decade and I'm still finding live videos from fests they did. I'm happy to share those videos.
Neon light, and when they turn the lights on, reminds of queen style rock. This band has so many influences, and when they do them, they make them theirs. Luke, as a recommendation you should check the OOR's discography doing some sort of "June/July of -One Ok Rock-" reactions, and check at least the "hits" or most popular ones... maybe do 2 songs in a single reaction will be awesome and you will really really enjoy the Live concert. And knowing the songs you can also appreciate how good they are live with the interactions, improvisation, and changes in the songs... for example; you already reacted to "Renegades" Studio version and also the Live version, so you know how to interact with the band as part of the crowd. 👍

I am not sure if this was suggested or not, but at some point I recommend checking out their old stuff, even legacy at this point when Toru used to rap! One of them is Yume Yume - Taka's vocals + Toru's rap and groove shows that they were really awesome as well back in the day, I love it so much. There is even the older one which was literally one of the beginnings of the band - Keep it Real. If you interested in the origins, you can check them out! Edit : I remembered that in the same concert like in the video, OOR bring up Yume Yume once more after a very long time for short brief moment and teasing Toru into playing it with a bit different instrumentals.

I won't comment much on OOR's current music because It's not for me - but I can't help myself and recommend you their early albums such as "Niche Syndrome", "Zankyo Reference" and "Kanjou Effect". I remember these albums being a big factor in J-rock genre getting recognized in the west in the late 00s and early 10s. You'll come to understand why OOR got so huge all over the world and get to listen to absolute PEAK rock music. Also, have fun at the concert!

Not gonna lie....I'm not too big a fan of ONE OK ROCK's new trend towards Pop Music rather than their origins in Rock......
to each their own. Also, it would be stupid if a band did the same kind of music for 20 years, Stupid, and boring. We all change during our lives, the kind of music we like also changes over time, or at least, becomes more diverse. I really like that they do the kind of music **they** wanna do, and don't conform to what "fans" want. It's their lives, their musical taste, their call. If you don't like it, you are welcome to listen to something else.

I am always blown away by their diverse talents. Taka's voice reaches my soul in any genre. I love One Ok Rock. I love their charenge. No matter how talented they are, without innovation, they will become old and nostalgic.
