There’s a deal at Walmart where I live. Two dollars a can for black and white Colorplace. The cans take to Montana caps really well. Definitely worth buying. Hate that rusto and pro cans are six bucks and up.

@@EmAr420 in my opinion. The hdx flat black is the only one I would get. I use it for outlines. I did a rusto white fill yesterday with a flat black hdx outline and it was very functional. Went over the outline twice in a few spots, but it works !

Quick color was like that, try turning it upside down and taking out a bit of pressure and solvent, also try a Boston Fat... this helped for quick color, havent tried the HDX yet, the flat blacks are usually are thats worth it... flat black kilz cap fills on cheap paint goes hard
I remember Ace Hardware had a paint that was identical to Krylon back in the day… same valve and pressure as the Old school Krylon cans. NY fats worked superb with the Ace Hardware cans. They were a little limited on colors just having the primary colors. I believe they continued to use the old valve system even after Krylon and Rusto stopped using them. It’s been at least 10 years since I used Ace Hardware paint but around 2013 they still was selling that paint and still using the old female valves on the cans. Not sure if today they still use the female valves on their cans or have switched over but it would be worth checking out for some of you that want that old school experience of the American domestic spray paint working like the old Krylon.

I wish Art Primo would develop a spray paint and brand it. Maybe use some of their connections and develop a can of spray paint like the old Krylons. Bring back a good paint for the American market that is not only affordable but works well also! Come on GR, we know y’all can do it!

Not gona lie I do like the hdx and project source but I’m still not paying for that shit I’ve been racking boxes of them recently also they don’t make them in flat or mat white I asked already I also woulda racked them too if they did haha
I'm done with American paints. I'm not into racking, I never was, and I can't stomach these prices coupled with the really bad quality. I remember when I first started rusto and krylon were around what these "cheap" paints are. $2 to $3 a can. Now they cost as much as molotow. For the money molotow is a thousand times better than any rusto even in its heyday, and before the garbage new valves. So molotow it is. The only time I'm buying rusto is if it's on sale for under $2. These HDX cans honestly look like garbage too.

project source gloss black is good but it has a weird effect on a outline on white fill
Another dope video. I use cheaper paints but they always was very faded to my experience expect the blacks are pretty solid
The matte always covers better then the gloss with those cheap cans and rustoes. I think it's something in the gloss that makes it wet
That's facts, I wouldn't even bother with the gloss hdx. I really dig the hdx matte black

Quick color flat black, NY fat (maybe it was rusto fat?), and upside down pressure release for 7-8 seconds is money.
