Dudeeeee I’ve been waiting for this video!!! Behr paint is so incredibly slept on. The flat whites and blacks are super smooth and cover amazing and are arguably better then Rust-Oleum. Me personally I just always rock the grey adapter on them cuz they got that thick stem. Props!!!

@@ArtPrimo possibly, I’ve had a pretty good experience with them overall. Like you showed in the video a cap does make the difference and with the grey adapter + Boston fat I always get amazing flares and coverage. Bad apples are always out there tho!
I wonder how long it will last in the elements though. I paint houses and it's well known in the trade that their exterior paint is garbage.
@@skhateanddestroy1252 Interesting. Not in the housepainting biz but do remodles and build outs on occasion. Their interior paint is nice. I used Marquee in a house I just bought and it's so nice to work with. I painted the texterior with Benjamain Moore though. That shit hits.

I bought valspar caps to try about a year ago not realizing that valspar was a different size. I almost threw them in the trash but I'm glad I didn't.
Absolutely right about the behr and flare caps! So smooth coming out, lays on thick when painting properly! Also a ‘cheap fills’ thrill… thank you for showcasing and explaining all the caps GR!! Always a great day when you watch an AP video…

Thanks for doing this review. In Ontario BEHR is now $20 a can and sold exclusively at Home Depot. Far more expensive than the other options for cheap paint. The best bang for your buck out here is Canadian tire brand “armor coat” at $10 a can. It’s not the best color palette but the white n black comes in matte which I prefer or gloss and the cans are high pressure with a female valve. It goes on a lot thicker then crappy transparent quick color which is also $10 a can and pairs up nice with a Boston fat or an og rusto. All the other paint is over $10 a can

Valspar.. brings back memories. Cheap stuff, worked just like rusto. Don’t see the stuff anymore, and when you do its just as expensive as a rusto.

I appreciate your research but I feel it only right to mention if you're going to buy domestic for paint, people should choose Acme paint, from Art Primo. Especially Turquise light with Black outlines. Because, reaons.
Acme is one of the better gloss paints out there and also the fastest drying paint I've used ..best for trucks . Last good in the elements . Not a can tho that works well if it's been out in the cold.
i just got behr cause it was cheaper than the other stuff at HD. wish all cans used the same caps though
can u try out the Spre & Thin Mints Female caps ive seen em on ebay want to see if they are acctaully good on some rustos

Yo, what do you recommend to sign t-shirts with? I bought a shirt from an artist and I asked him to sign it with my Chaka Silver Streaker and it works well but I want options that won’t look fucked up.

Bud, its a pain in the ass figuring out cap compatibility. Ordered some montana caps only to find theyre male and I need Rust-Oleum and Behr size female caps.
The Lowe’s cans are pretty good.they use the female cans but you can only really use a Lego or NY fat because it leaks a little

When you drop a 360 valve can like that, and it starts spraying straight air, turn it upside down and try spraying that way. The way 360 cans work is that the paint is sorta inside a bag, inside a pressurized can, so it squishes paint out at any angle but if you drop a mostly-but-not-quite full can it'll sometimes bust the bag. Since 360 valves don't have a straw inside, holding upside down gets you paint and holding right side up gives you nothing but air.
Also, another paint I'd like a little review of is ColorShot from Walmart and Michael's, it's a newish paint that came out this year and I'm pretty impressed by it at 5 bucks a can (that's actually zero bucks cause they're in 10oz hairspray cans that seem designed to slip in a jeans pocket) but you're a much more experienced writer than me, a professional opinion. The matte colors seem to cover pretty damn good for an alcohol acrylic and a lotta their gloss pastel colors like Aromatherapy cover pretty well too, and their metallics (and their Cosmo burgundy purple for some reason) seem to eat most buff paint into a wrinly mess like putting brake fluid in a mop.

@@dickdiamonds3410 bro go to europe they have the cheapest paint at the highest quality there paint manufactures embrace graffiti and make paint specifically for that market, US manufactures do the opposite thats why krylon and rusto switched to male valves to stop the use of custom caps
