A thing of beauty is a JOY FOREVER
We had a 2.5 litre Mark IV between 1960 and 1963. A blocked oil feed led to engine failure;after big bills, the car was given away. I wish we'd Kept KTV 461.
William Lyons dearly loved wire wheels.
Wire wheels are simply the best ! ..If you have ever driven a car with them and then swapped over to solid steel rims you would understand completely why They are better ! besides the natural flex they have over Bumps etc, giving a kind of shock absorption effect they also had a kind of characteristic feel when cornering at speed that lends itself to the overall character of the car and could actually give a certain feedback to the driver through the steering wheel that helped the driver feel the road ...typically unlike anything these days ! this is why real drivers love to drive the real sports cars of yesteryear !!
The first thing I noticed here is the Headlamps are perhaps just a little on the small side for correct proportions of this classic !
Surely you jest. !!!!!
@@gf4353 Yes I do Jest
Its easy to firget how large the Headlights were back then
Beautiful!
Drop dead gorgeous. Certainly the equal of any Bentley of the same era - possibly superior!
Jaguars are so Swoopy.
It's left drive.
Maybe re-imported !
