I have play at the Peppermill for a lot of years. Played with you a lot . But I have stopped playing there because of the bomb pots . The time every half hour 5.00 was a great value. But with the bomb pots they take to long . Nice playing with you !!
THATS THE REASON I WILL NOT PLAY THERE YOU PAY THE TIME THEN WATCH A DEALER STACK THE CHIPS TO SPLIT THE POT AND 10 MIN MIN HAS PASSED ......WILL NEVER PLAY THERE AGAIN!!!!
That’s funny I had guessed what you were gonna say before you said it. I think every poker player wants to pull off a triple check raise at some point and win the hand. It’s just very unlikely to happen cause most players will check back on the river.
Kudos on being able to lay down AK preflop after being reraised. Sometimes its wise to assume your beat with a small loss. Cause most people play it like its the third strongest starting hand.
Ahhhh, the old "hat trick". Ticked off my bucket lists in $5-$10 LHE game at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas, circa 1999-2000? Don't remember the hand. But I was visiting and a good friend professional grinder was at the table. After I check-raised the river and my opponent folded, I showed a bluff! 😂 So it was a triple-check-raise bluff! Millions of hands later and I don't think I've even tried it again.
I can remember a few bluffs that were called by worse hands. It makes you doubt your judgment but I still take the chips. Never saw that movie and I suppose it was far-fetched, but I played Rugby and a three hundred pound prop, sort of a two-way linemen, can make an awesome run.
The music commentary during the mid-session update is over. The usage of Thunderstruck is classic in Varsity Blues. I partied the night before a varsity game. That is exactly how it feels. As a former offensive lineman, the final play was absolutely written by one of my comrades! Offensive backs always get the credit and they never want to share the limelight. Good for Billy Bob! Side note: As I continue to battle kidney cancer, my favorite line is, “I got my CAT scanned!”

Ben, Your my guy but I have to say I am not a fan of trying to see your opponents after he called you on the river without showing. That is an angle shoot and you being an experienced reg really should not do that. He called you just show your hand.
I’d say this is more of a one-off, in which case you give the guy a pass. Or, at least I think you should. If he is “your guy” then you know he plays this game in an ethical and professional way.
@ I agree completely which is why I was surprised to hear him say what he said about hoping his opponent would show so he wouldn’t have to. So of course I am still a big fan but certainly hope he doesn’t do that again. It’s the most common form of angle shooting I see at the table all the time.
@@mattgraves5222 I’m not trying to argue with you- I’m an adult and don’t partake in the keyword warrior nonsense- but you have used the term angle shooting in both your statement and rebuttal. Don’t you think that’s a bit harsh, for one? Also, when I think of angle shooting, I think of someone that’s trying to somehow cheat while pushing the line on staying within the rules. I believe you’re talking about where he has A3, and the guy calls his bet? In that case, it’s clear that he’s just kind of embarrassed to show the hand, and if the guy’s got a better hand, maybe Ben can kick his without showing. Yes, it’s not proper etiquette- bettor needs to show or muck- but again, I think calling it a show is a little much.
Lol, that bumper sticker. I would have to read that bumper every now and then so I don't devour the entire bag of Doritos in one go. 😅

That opening montage reminds me of days past. Thanks for that. GL
Love seeing you session results over time. Would be cool to see how you are doing for the year, month etc.
Finally I’ve found a second vlogger (Jaman Burton being the first) who doesn’t play AK as if they were aces.
That license plate? It’s probably a tribute to the DJ duo Zeds Dead-they love using that iconic clip in their sets!”

Be cool for the temperature to be displayed at the start when you put location in text.
Feel like you should be setting up stacks not barreling of in the QJ hand?
"Hook and lateral". Wide receiver runs a "hook" route, then "laterals" the ball back to a trailing team mate. No such thing as a "hook and ladder"

I’ve never got the triple check raise either. But I DID pull off the quadruple min raise (and won), on the button no less.

Let’s get a big win
5 3 is one hand I love to play because I’ve crushed AA several times with it.
8:00 I assume this was a shot at my Chicago Bears 😭
When is the v log coming from Tahoe?
Johnny Vibes always said never try and bluff on a paired board.
How are you good with the K8 hand? When I do that, I'm up against KJ and I get scooped.
Gotta know your opponents!
I’ve accomplished the triple check raise. Never even seen a 2 card royal or hit a bad beat
Still plus $2,917. I didn't count todays session.
AK you block AA and KK. Most likely holding is QQ and worth at least a call to see a flop in position
Reno poker
Way to get thin value with A♤3♤ 🤭🤭🤭
I like Varsity Blues but because I always need a "ten....gimme a ten"
I'm going through Kayla withdrawal!😬
😀
They scanned my cat
Except one game where my LA Kings beat your Vegas Knights sorry go kings go
Where the hell is Kayla corner ??
All over the place hands and results
Its always a great Monday night with the anchorman!!!!!!
Nice win on a day where good hands were few and far between.
The Lions did it a couple weeks ago with Sewell. (trick play) It can work.
Plays 1:12 twice? And nothing past4:30 a session. You might be a considered a “ hit and run guy “ with those session lengths.
Im so disappointed i didn't get to play with you when i came through Reno this summer.
Come back for the November Palooza
Humans make plans.....GOD laughs
so: GOD laughs at his own creation.
Folding AK preflop what the fuck is this play ????
I don’t want your life
isnt it.... "your lafe"

I think the pepper mill would be a great place to have a Livestream game, with you on the call 😁
That has been mentioned over the years, but never come to fruition

@ that’s fair it’s just a pet peeve of mine. I agree I care way too much about it.
