Always fun to see how someone else interprets a song you play yourself. I notice some arpeggios thrown in on the last note of the phrase (i.e. on the word "mine"). Nice touch!
I think as with any instruments, it has its hard parts and its easy parts. An easy part would be that you never have to bother learning different scales, because you just set the levers and then you're in whatever key you want to be in. One of the harder parts is just getting a feel for the instrument and being able to place your hands properly. I myself look at some instruments like cello or violin and think those look ridiculously hard, so I guess it's all a matter of perspective!
You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my gf for the last few months xD
Hey man! This was so great! Would you please be able to link the sheet music you used for this version! Would love to learn this ! Thankyou so so much!
Hi Jamie! The sheet music is from "teach yourself the folk harp" by Sylvia Woods. You can get it on Amazon or anywhere, it's a fairly common book in the harp world. :)
Orion Harp anyway you could take a photo of the sheet music in the book and link me by any chance! I bought it but shipping from uk is gonna take weeks ;(
What great lively piece! And played so cleanly! Excellent.
I recognise the melody from a show in my younger Years. Nostalgia. Thanks for this beautiful music.

Uma música do Shaman/André Matos é baseada nessa.
Muito bonito.
Isn’t this the song the harp played for fluffy in harry potter ?
The melody is named Scarborough Fair known because Simon and Garfunkel made it popular.

@@orionharp978Hmm, I went through that book, and I do remember that song was in there - but not that version, so you dressed it up a little!
Is this from Silvia woods beginner guid to the folk harp
Yes it is!
Is that music from Skyrim?
This is a really old folk song from England dating back to the 17th century. Its been rewritten many times, most notably Simon and Garfunkel in 1960s
I recognice it from the game "Anno 1503"
Very 👍 nice
