Hi Rudy, does the black pin “lock” in to the receiver hitch? I have one of these and the black pin can be pulled slightly away when installed... wondered if that was normal?
First unlock the hitch using the key and turn the knob if it’s very lose it means it still locks, second, there is a safety lock u need to release (1:04 on the video) after you unlock the first lock.
@@lauriekazenoff1723 are sure is unlock, it’s hard to to tell is unlock or lock, it will keep spinning very lose when is locked, make sure you check it twice , it happens a lot to people that think is unlock but actually still lock.
Make sure you unlock before you remove it, when you turn the dial and is very lose it means it’s locked, you are supposed to get tension when is unlocked. Move the rack side by side and turn the knob in the same time.
Great easy to view demo. Would have really helped to see you put the bikes on as well

I got mine from local store but if you Google Thule Helium aero 2 usually will give you stores in ur area that selling this bike rack.

Yes, it will lock when you turn the pin around, you might have the old model.

How do you take it OUT of the hitch when you want to take it off the car? Can’t do it once it’s in!
