John Mayer has become one of my favorite artists of all time! His writing skills are unmatched. Can you check out another tear jerker? It's called Stop This Train. It's about that feeling of life moving too fast (in a nutshell)
When my favorite Aunt died of cancer two years ago, Stop This Train was the only way I could articulate my feelings at the time. It will forever hold a special place in my heart.
The original of this song doesn't even come close to the live version. This version is nice. But the live version will blow you away! I listen to that 10 minute live regularly and it's still one of my favourite performances ever in human history.
Look up his song “In Repair”. It’s a sister song to this song. 😏 He also has a newer song called “I guess I just feel like”. Definitely worth the listen.
I know it’s been said, but you absolutely, absolutely, have to watch the “Where the Light Is” concert, recorded in L.A. It includes a truly phenomenal version of this song, and phenomenal versions of other songs. It’s in three sets: Purely acoustic, where you find out just how outrageously talented a guitarist and singer JM is. A Trio with the incredibly talented and world renowned Steve Jordan and Pino Palledino, where you find out just how outrageously talented a guitarist and singer JM is. The third set is the full band, where you find out just how outrageously talented a guitarist and singer JM is. I can honestly say, I think it’s the most impressive live gig I’ve ever had the privilege of watching. Please, please check it out, for your own enjoyment.
Check out “Belief” from the same album. That one hits me real hard, I can’t even imagine the solo, let alone listen to it and my eyes start welling up.
That was Nice! Id love to make a request A Collab: Michael J & Freddie Mercury, "There Must be More to Life than This "...Thank you think youd find it a blessing
I like it. Great voice. If i could make a request. If you could check out Cody Jinks... Cast no stones. I think you and your listeners will injoy it.. Love what you do. Thanks
Don't know if you see or read any of these but I just watched your reaction video to Zach Rushings My First Black Cookout, and you seemed to enjoy that one a lot as most folks do when they first see and hear that story of his. I'm just wondering why you didn't watch the 2nd part to this story called Momma "T's" Fish Fry? Would love to see your reaction to that story as well, maybe it's time you paid another visit to Zach Rushing ay? You'll love Momma "T's" Fish Fry just as much if not more than His First Black Cookout story LOL.
