Someone needs to say it. This music is god tier. The regal rock of Leo's theme that captures his personality perfectly, and the funky bass line that evolves into the traditional japanese sound mixed with the electric power of the guitar for Nagoriyuki. This may be the best soundtrack for a fighting game I've ever heard.
Both music themes are bloody ace. Leo's got me fueled with adrenaline, and Nagoriyuki's just scream "badass with a tragic story" because of the intro and oriental-driven lead guitar.
Themes were on point, in my opinion. Leo makes a comeback, FUCK YEAH. But Nago?! NAGORIYUKI?! Already a main! Next to Chipp, already a day 1 main. They got my money. They got that shit on lock!

I may be a lil sad that the complexity of Guilty Gear isn’t gonna be the same in Strive but that’s good for newcomers who want to get into the series. But It doesn’t mean tell people to never buy an Arcsys game again, that’s just being an asshole. I’m willing to give Strive a shot mainly because of my love for the series, For me the reason I fell in love with the series is it’s characters, deeply more with it’s complex gameplay. I’m gonna give Strive a shot when it comes out. @@catisreckless4647 Well compared to most characters in Guilty Gear, Leo's rushdown playstyle is very simple and he has all the tools to keep it simple. The term most like to use is "Unga Bunga" where you can turn your brain off and still do relatively decently with him. A character being unga bunga or easy doesn't make them a bad character per se because Leo still has a few tricks up his sleeve like his back stance and if someone knows how to pressure with him, you're gonna be constantly trying to get him out of your face if your character is better at a distance like Axl or someone else. It just means that the skill floor to play them decently is lower than most characters.
Ok , this might be jumping to conclusions, but it seems like that’s all the returning characters. Notice how all of the characters where announced in order of series.
I doubt it. They basically just added the original GG characters and then a couple from Xrd. No way they wouldn't add characters introduced in X and XX. More likely that they announced the mainstays of the series, then announced some Xrd characters because it's the most recent and they want to capture the current player community.

Nagoriyuki reminds me of Soki from Onimusha in TvC. He seems to absorb this red soul stuff and then enters red sword mode and goes ham. Also his mask is an Oni mask. Oh and Leo got a haircut XD.

@@Gillian_FFXIV Yep, and that's why Vergil is much cooler than Dante imo This illusion that the character is more skilled and classy, it's neat. If you take guns in consideration, when a character uses silencers that is basically the equivalent of this "laido" thing. That's why a character like Hitman is much cooler than Duke Nukem imo
