Man, this is so smart. We should start pouring money into Software Agencies in Africa and not Start-Ups. Working for an Agency in Africa right now, and I can see EXACTLY what he describes there. Insanely good video, thank you.
This makes complete sense. Most companies in Africa need solutions, not products. And our young people are totally willing to learn and in my case reskill. I have tremendous respect for Fred. His ALX programs are helping me to reskill after I had to give up on my career to take better care of my family. Much respect. We need more content like this, in more African languages. Language remains a barrier to many Africans.
Product and service go hand in hand since not in all parts of the African continent can services fare well enough. Let's not copy we need reinvention for the future of Africa unless we willl remain slave to the dogma of serving instead of producing.
we need also to become a product oriented since 30 to 40% of worlds natural resources comes from Africa. Only proper policies will foster the growth of Product market. Africa ain't India or any other continent or country. Africa has the capabilty of making itself successful with its vast resources
@@jazzxgray have you talked to any of the "graduates" yourself? Alx like lambda school or many of these bootcamps promise big but under deliver. I have no beef with him but talking doesn't amount to results. And we're good at talking big
@@aberba But what you say doesn't make any sense. You yourself are only talking always but worse, you keep looking to spin things negatively without explanation to justify yourself. This man gave me the opportunity to become the software engineer that I am today thanks for buying Holberton school of software engineering
Am also a product of this man too.
What's his name please?
This man simply changed my life. ALX is a gamechanger.

Guy cooked!
🤔
Cost effective sides to develop them? 😂
We good at talking, bad at doing. The Chinese just get done and let the results do the talking
Well... that's the founder of ALX...he's actually doing it.

Okay?….
That's the biggest problem. There are more people who talk about tech but very few actually building.
