I think Zakir's brand moto says it all "Let the oil speak ...". I also like the fact that he's a man of few words when it comes to product descriptions - i.e. precise notes breakdown. Thank you very much for another informative and passionate video. 🤗
In UAE Thai oud oils invaded the market 8/9 years ago. They are very popular among oud fanatics, but i discovered Indian oud last year and cant go back to Thai ones. I've been seeing Philippines oud pop up in adds lately which is relatively expensive because of its rarity and quality.
A wonderful introduction to the many complexities that the world of Oudh contains. I’ve only tried Oudh perfumes like Dahn Oudh al Shams. I’m looking forward to trying some Oudh oils.
Indeed!!! Oud is complex.spiritual.abscure.something which is the foundation to a stairway that leads to divine serenity. I stepped into perfumery when i smelled something peculiar, smokey, sweet and really really unique ,when a tall emarati passed by... In the quest of that perfect aroma *Exotic scents* happened to me!! The one thing that your channel and all my experience with oud taught me is that so called perfect aroma can never be recreated nor be found unless I'm way too lucky ( as every oud smells different). Yet, i found something much more beautiful, spiritual, and something that i will preserve, cherish for my life time. (Now i often layer my self with Hindi, combodi ouds and natural bhakoor.) All thanks to nikhil and his exotic scents/perfume guru.
Nikhil Bhai there is something magic in your voice after seeing your videos I feel like I'm in meditation, also feels clam and relaxed, love from Hyderabad ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very informative as usual and what a coincidence that I watched this today because I’m wearing an Assam dahn al oud from Ajmal. I bought this from their store in Mumbai around five years ago.
Phenomenal video, it is therapeutic to feel your great passion for these magical oils . You are a wonderful teacher in the manner in which you share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences on your journey. Thank you
What an amazing video! Your passion and genuine enjoyment in fragrances is reflected in your voice and presentation, the way you explain also will inspire many people to deep dive into the world of fragrance. Please also do share some websites from where you recommend buying
It's great to get another of your educational videos. They are my favorite. I have learned more about oud from you and Ensar than from anyone else. Thank you.
I want you to know that your work is great, very informative, high quality. It's amazing that we can share our info, passion and creativity with ppl all around the world. Wish you the best, I'll keep on learning from you
Thank you so much for your precious info. I have coincidentally got the attar named Hajar al aswad by Surrati including Indian oud. I didn't know how precious it was even though I like the attar so much. Thank you again for preventing me from getting brushed in public for my innocence.
Nikhil bro! You very well said. These oils are all about Exploring and Experiencing. It is a journey, be it spiritual or any other personal perfume journey. It has a moment of ecstasy, joy and bliss. Specially when it comes with Natural Oils which no designer perfume can give anyone.
Great video! Have you tried Fleur Oud Santal by Feel Oud? I liked the rest of the notes in it, but I am not a fan of the barnyard oud at all, and was wondering if it is in there.
Perfectly described my friend, I find the sweetness akin to a sticky gooey tangy sweet tamarind paste😍, great content as always, please keep up the great content and be blessed in your daily life amigo 🙂
Sir, I would recommend you to visit Attar Ahmed Dawood located in churchgate, mumbai it is also a family owned company if you are into oud & oud oils. They produce their oud themselves.
Are these oud oils while being in the attar continuing their aging still? And becoming better every year? Could you, please, do a video about oud aging? What are the types of aging processes that are there
Strange that I never heard about agar-wood in my whole life. I know sandal-wood, but oud or agar-wood I've never heard about before. But of course I looked it up immediately, to find a source here in Germany, and I will get some to try in the near future.
Hi nice video...Can u please review "lattafa raghba wood intense" have been hearing about it these days that it's a good alternative for tom ford tobacco vanille...
Bhai kabi ajmal ka dahn al oudh Madeh try karay... I wish ap usko try karay aur uska review dy logo ko... it's a subtle mix of hindi and combodi oud and bohat he sweet leathery with a little bit barnyard attar hay... agr ap nay use kea hay usko tou kindly let me know in your kind comment .. what u say?
Thanks for the explanations here. So you're saying that the "barnyard" variety of ouds come partially from the type of tree, and then gets magnified through the process of fermentation?
@@nikhilsfrags thanks I am learning a lot. In the West, the often associate "fecal" smelling oud as more authentic. But really, it is just lower quality
nikhil bhai agar possible ho to yeh episode hindi me banao na plz, humlogo ko oud ke bare me janna hai aur humko english nahi ati achi oud chips ko kaise pehchne aur konsi oud chips leni chahiye
I don't want to buy wild for ethical reasons, but the best cultivated agarwood seems like it might be getting snatched up by perfumers. How can you find farmers who've grown a twenty year old crop, made a batch of oil and just left it raw with zero additives? I think if I found the right one I'd just buy a whole litre and have it slowly age with me.
Hello, I live in Canada and its really had to figure out what colognes have real oud and to stay away from the ones that don't. Can ypu tell me for sure which colognes ( not expensive) that I can pick up that have real non animalic oud in them. I was told Oud 36 Alheramain has real oud but after a few reviews realized it dod not. Please help. I want to experience real oud in the best way. I the very least maybe I can pick up chips from somewhere to burn Thank you so much for your help in adapting.
Nikill brother can recommend me to Zakir I want to study about oud .. I’m willing to work under Zakir bai for free of cost right now I’m in Qatar if agree I can join soon

Why are your bottles full , you don’t use them often?
Oud, from the perspective of the trees, has been disastrous. I jest of course. Wonderful video sir.
