- This is my first attempt to cook Lamb Kleftiko from a recipe found on the internet. This is a very traditional dish from many years ago, and if you find a taverna in Corfu making it in house instead of a commercial version, try it!! it is really scrumptious.
I was beginning to wonder where you had disappeared too.... Glad to see you, alive and kicking :-) Always a great pleasure watching your small films. going to try this on Sunday.
If the Gods are smiling, I will see you in September at Oscar's ....Take care of yourself Al and stay safe.
Cheers Paul
Just subscribed Al. Coming to Acharavi with wife and daughter in October, great to get the lowdown from a long time resident. Many thanks.

Hi Alan, great to see you back on our screens. Will try this recipe, but as you say going to do it in a slow cooker. Sorry to hear about health issues, wishing you a speedy and complete recovery.
Best wishes to you and Mrs Corfual. Yamas!
Hi Gatsby, Nice to hear from you, To be honest I found this recipe to be tasty and eeeeeenjoyable but as a casserole slow cooked I think it will be better and easier. Health as good as can be expected for 80 years old. am luckier than most. Yassus, Al
Looks cracking Al. Yummy.
Hi Moosey great to hear from you. Must be tough down there at the moment. Hope you are good and safe. Still a bit strict here. But season starting have no doubt infections will increase.Al
dear Al, should I buy an old stone house or is it impossible ie. way too expensive to modernize it? I am informed that mold is a constant problem on the island, at the same time I imagine that those stone houses are much cooler in the summer than the new ones made of thin brick walls and concrete
Hi Free Hugs Well I have an old stone house, modernised lightly to keep the character. I do not know the comparision of new against old but yes there is always a mould problem in the bathroom but I spray of bleach from a small spray bottle keeps it at bay no problem. Al
Looks great- Can't hear a word???
Sorry about that ,it seems ok when I play it.Al
also where are the largest number of Brits located?
Bloody everywhere why they come I don't know, they try to turn Corfu into England or Brit spain
@@corfual hahha :D
thanks for the reply
@@corfual lets hope not, it will take the character of the island away.
@@paulbell9516 What I do not understand in UK immigrants put mosques and have their areas ,everyone moans about it. YET they come here for the weather ,character and charm then try to turn it into little britain
@@corfual Very much like Southern Spain: More like 'Little Britain'! Spanish, what Spanish....
